”You are clearly an Anna!” … is a sentence which is often heard at our workplace 😅 Other than being an accurate description of a personality type and an endearing term, it is also a testament to our strong storytelling. In the Danish podcast, Bag Kulissen, our Group CEO and co-owner Mikkel Vaupell Grene is interviewed by Helle Rosendahl about storytelling ✨🔊 During the 26 minutes long podcast, they cover the story of Søstrene Grene, how our storytelling is received outside of Denmark and what the two sisters, Anna and Clara, have in common with Santa Claus. Mikkel also explains how the storytelling is effectively used in our organisation so that every employee – or Sister, as we call ourselves and each other – knows the difference between the two sisters and know which one they identify with 😉 We see this as something very valuable, because as Mikkel says in the interview: “A strong core narrative is not necessarily something that you can calculate the short-term effect of in an Excel sheet, but in the long run it can be a huge strength for a company to have a strong story.” 🤎 You can listen to the podcast (in Danish) where ever you listen to podcast or through the link here: https://lnkd.in/d9E-Ji9B

So, you spent all that time interviewing your guest, and editing your podcast (or $$ paying someone else to do it), but you're not sure if... Your target audience is actually listening. Hey, I've been there. Done that. I know plenty who have done the same. But did you know that by interviewing a guest on your podcast, you are actually a news reporter? What if you could pitch your interviews to a local and/or relevant news publication? And then, what if you could promote the resulting news story directly to your target audience? You've made all that effort to produce your podcast worth it. And you've given a massive value-add that will help your company or organization. "Sounds great, Curt. But where do I start?" You can start by sending me a message and asking me that very question :)

Here's the secret to why some people constantly get invited to speak on big platforms and talk on big podcasts: it's because they're the author of a book. A book is an iconic format. It signifies authority and expertise like nothing else. If you've written a book of 30 or 40,000 words on your subject, then you are clearly the expert in your field. If you want to get on stage, be interviewed by a journalist, or talk on someone's podcast, what do you do? You send them a copy of your book. Nothing else breaks through like sending people the gift of a published book. It makes it clear that you're someone they’ll want to showcase on their stage, in their podcast, or in an article or interview. So, get your book written so you can be that person on the stage. #ThoughtLeadership #WriteYourBook #EntrepreneurToAuthor Sophie Stardust Joe Gregory Daniel Priestley David B Horne Jonathan Farrar

It's the basics, and yet 90% of podcast guests do not understand this principle. Engaging storytelling is what makes some podcast interviews unforgettable. Listeners crave authenticity. They want to hear real stories and genuine emotions. Preparation is key. Knowing the host and the audience can make a huge difference. A good podcast guest listens actively. They respond thoughtfully to the host's questions. Energy and enthusiasm are essential. A lively guest keeps the audience engaged. Clear and concise communication helps. Long-winded answers can lose the listener's interest. Sharing unique insights or experiences makes a guest memorable. Humor, when appropriate, can make the interview more enjoyable. Being relatable helps the audience connect with the guest. A strong personal brand can also make a guest stand out. When listeners feel a connection, they remember the interview. The best guests leave the audience wanting more. They make the podcast episode worth sharing. That's the power of being an impactful podcast guest. #realestatejourney #investmentgoals #realestate #realestateinvesting #multifamilyinvesting #realestateinvestor #multifamily #passiveinvesting #syndication

This episode with Carlos Caro is chock full of great ideas. But the most significant business-changing idea for me is this: (My paraphrase & twist): Can this prospect and I create a jaw-dropping success story together? Hear me out. I believe that sales is NOT about convincing people to buy; it's about *finding alignment* between a client's problem and my solution. So, when I lead a Discovery meeting, I'm not there to sell anything...yet. I'm looking for alignment. Can the prospect and I create a jaw-dropping success story together? How do I tell? 1. If I can see that their problem is a deep-down burning priority (to them) 2. And I can see that our sales training and coaching can help solve that problem 3. With clear KPIs to measure the impact 4. Where the potential return is exponential to any investment they would make in our system 5. And the client is ambitious, coachable, committed, and virtuous (ethical)... That's what I'm looking for. That's what alignment looks like for my business—where it sets up the relationship (and engagement) for success. If I uncover it's not a good match, that's okay. I'd much rather find that out sooner than later and book more Discos to "shop for" clients who align with us than *chase* after "opportunities" that aren't a great fit for either party. As founders and sales leaders, time is our most rare asset. We owe it to ourselves and our companies to invest that precious time in prospects who align. #SystematicSelling #sales

In the 2,000+ interviews I conducted during my career as a freelance business journalist, I learned one question that rarely failed to give me my "money" quote from a conversation. It's the last question I ask. And I've carried that tradition on to podcasting. Now...There's nothing profound about the question. It's stupidly simple, really. But, for whatever reason, it unlocks a treasure trove of insights from a guest. And that's precisely what happened as Carlos Caro with New Market Growth closed out our conversation with 🔥 on Episode 15 of the Systematic Selling Podcast. The stupidly simple question? "Is there anything we haven't talked about today that you think would be important for founders to think about?" Watch this 2-minute clip with Carlos' answer. He doesn't disappoint 👇 In a nutshell, he shares these points for monetizing your business: - Communicate the problem you solve. - Find the right audience with that problem. - Deploy your expertise and deliver results. 🎧 Check out the full episode 👉 https://lnkd.in/eVFgRe6s #SystematicSelling #Sales
