Just reading through the abstract and I see too many issues with this supposed blueprint. It’s not a blueprint it’s enabling a failing system by keeping bad habits en toe. Focus needs to lead away from Social Work and onto Mental Health Counselors instead. Social Workers are too busy trying to be supervisors and are usually ill equipped to properly treat a range of symptoms. I would know, every social worker I’ve encountered has told me they weren’t trained in the modalities I needed for proper treatment and because of such I’ve done all my own therapy instead. If you all were really interested in being a “blueprint” you’d recognize your direction as further faulty and not actually anything special or new.
NYC Health + Hospitals unveiled a comprehensive three-year Behavioral Health Blueprint to enhance #mentalhealth services across NYC. Funded in part by $41M from @NYSomh Behavioral Health Centers of Excellence. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3XcBOP3.
The Role of Completely Satisfied Behavioral Health Customer Service
1. Patient-Centric Approach: Cura Hospitality’s platform emphasizes a “one patient at a time” strategy, enhancing patient satisfaction and supporting their healing journeys. This approach aligns with the broader goals of healthcare to provide personalized care.
2. Service Excellence Training: Associates undergo extensive training to ensure exceptional service, focusing on presentation and interaction. This includes server etiquette and creating visually appealing dining experiences, which are crucial in behavioral health settings.
3. Meal Service Standards: Cura prioritizes fresh meal preparation and individualized food preferences, crucial for patient recovery, especially for those with substance abuse or mental health challenges. The BeWell Kitchen initiative connects culinary education with health, empowering both patients and staff.
4. Innovative Engagement Tools: Tools like Cura’s Conversation Starters help staff connect meaningfully with memory-impaired patients, enhancing the overall patient experience. This approach fosters connection and engagement, vital in behavioral health care.
5. Supportive Workplace Culture: Initiatives like suggestion boxes for menu items, employee recognition boards, and special perks during events (e.g., National Nursing Week) promote staff satisfaction and retention. Understanding employee motivations through “stay interviews” helps create a positive work environment.
6. Commitment to Client Goals: Cura’s commitment goes beyond dining; it aims to enhance the overall goals of healthcare facilities through dedicated service, compassion, and innovative solutions.
7. Leadership Vision: Under the leadership of Trish Spellman, Cura emphasizes the importance of creating a festive and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff, making dining a significant aspect of the recovery process.
Cura Hospitality’s approach demonstrates how enhancing dining experiences can lead to better patient outcomes and improved staff engagement in behavioral health settings. This holistic strategy is essential for healthcare executives looking to improve their facilities' service quality and patient satisfaction.
Let’s connect and discuss how we can transform dining experiences in healthcare settings for better patient and staff satisfaction! #Moments

Our Ligature-Resistant SHOWER Door System reduces the risk of weaponization against staff and other patients in behavioral health wards. It also does away with the trip hazards that can arise when traditional shower curtains or removeable alternatives unintentionally detach from their fixing point.
Make the transition to Kingsway’s Ligature-Resistant SHOWER Door System to de-risk your care environment! Here’s why:
🔹Independently verified strength & ligature-resistance
🔹Minimize weaponization risks against staff or other clients
🔹Preserve patient privacy & dignity
🔹Create a therapeutic environment through non-institutional design
