I've just arrived in Dallas and am looking forward to engaging in some exciting discussions over the next few days at #HarmonizedSkies. I'm especially looking forward to the panel discussion, which features an incredible lineup of co-panelists. Positioned at the end of the event, this panel will serve as a capstone, summarizing key insights gathered from earlier sessions. At HHLA Sky, we’re aiming to become a Global USSP (UTM Services Provider). We already offer a UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) platform that we plan to make available to other aspiring USSPs. While also operating as a USSP ourselves, we plan to be a certified USSP in Europe and now also planning to be a USSP In US, but road is not as simple as it sounds. While any UTM provider can, in theory, operate globally, the practical barriers to entry are substantial, with numerous prerequisites to meet. It’s time to address these obstacles and work together to clear them. 🌙 Klingon to your hats - we're delighted to announce that six innovators have been awarded £1.6 million in DASA funding to advance technologies that improve the UK's capacity for safe operations in space! 🚀 DASA's Space to Innovate – Charlie Drop campaign invited innovators to submit novel technologies and solutions to help overcome three space related challenge areas. Any kind of disruption to UK space capabilities, whether natural or intentional, could cause severe disruption to UK prosperity. The space domain, which includes satellites and space-based services, is now vital to modern life, enabling a range of civilian and military activities. Innovations from the six innovators 9GMV, Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL), Spectra Group, SuperSharp, University of Liverpool and QinetiQ0 will help to maintain the UK’s freedom of action in space by developing future technologies that will enhance and protect space military and civil potential.
