Update from the AoM-NCF Joint Meeting: Focusing on Service Provision in MIRRI-ERIC 🌟 We are excited to share insights from the second part of the joint meeting of the Assembly of Members (AoM) and the National Coordinators Forum (NCF), where delegates from National Nodes and country representatives gathered to discuss the strategic direction of MIRRI-ERIC services. The session was dynamic and highly collaborative, featuring three focused working groups, each addressing key aspects of service provision: Designing Workflows of Services Tailored to Specific Domains 🛠️ This group explored how MIRRI-ERIC can create and optimize workflows to meet the unique needs of various scientific and industrial domains. The goal is to enhance the specificity and effectiveness of our service offerings, ensuring they are aligned with the distinct requirements of our users. Inspiring New MIRRI-ERIC Services through TNAs 💡 Transnational Access (TNA) activities have been a cornerstone of MIRRI-ERIC’s value proposition. This group discussed innovative ways these TNAs can inspire the development of new services, leveraging the rich experiences and feedback gathered through TNA projects to drive service innovation. ELSI Services🔍 Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues (ELSI) are crucial in the realm of research and innovation. This group focused on enhancing our ELSI-related services, ensuring that MIRRI-ERIC remains at the forefront of addressing these critical considerations in microbiological research. The discussions were incredibly productive, highlighting the importance of tailored service design, the inspirational role of TNAs, and the necessity of robust ELSI frameworks. We are confident that these collaborative efforts will significantly enhance the value and impact of MIRRI-ERIC’s service portfolio. If you’re involved in the care of patients who require extrication after a collision then you need to read this. It impacts #paramedic and clinical colleagues for sure, but there is also an awful lot in there for non-clinical responders including from #police, #highways and #fire. Read the guideline then listen to the podcast https://lnkd.in/euBfprFP
