“We must promote and develop our #EndogenousTechnologies in our countries of the #South, not only to have control over them and thus not be dependent on technologies developed in the north, but also so that these technologies respond to our logic and needs, thus promoting a more integrated development of these digital tools in our region.” Eng. 📢 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the EARTO - European Association of Research and Technology Organisations Innovation Awards 2024, where key recommendations were presented to strengthen Europe’s research and innovation landscape. The focus is clear: strengthening Framework Programme 10, EU’s key funding program for research and innovation, to boost critical technology development and attract private investments is essential. The new Competitiveness Fund and supporting technology infrastructures will play a pivotal role in this effort. 🌍 That’s why European Aluminium and 100+ other European associations signed a joint statement, reinforcing our commitment to enhancing EU competitiveness through research and development investments and innovation. 🌱 🔗 Click here to read the joint statement: https://lnkd.in/dHqBjGWY #EARTO #FP10 #Innovation #EuropeanAluminium #Competitiveness #GreenTransition
