If you’re interested in how a journey to a successful #b2bcommunity looks like, look no further but read about the success of SS&C Blue Prism! A nice summary of a 5 year Journey from inception to fostering creativity and collaboration by James Woods
It's week 2 of our extended birthday party, and I have genuinely loved going down memory lane with members and colleagues past and present. 🎂 As we get bogged down in the day-to-day, it's easy to forget to take a step back and just look how far we've come and what was built together. So James grabbed his virtual pen, and decided to take us on a journey > https://lnkd.in/etb-wY2x #BoundlessTogether

What a week at Inspire Youth Zone – full of productivity, growth, and exciting developments! Here’s a round-up of what’s been happening: Started interviews for our new Playwork Manager – exciting times ahead as we bring in fresh talent to help drive our vision forward. Had a great meeting with one of our trustees Matthew Currie to explore a sustainable business idea that will help support the incredible work we do here at Inspire. Took a bit of time out on Tuesday and – got a head start on Christmas shopping! 🎁 Wednesday: A busy one with more interviews for the Playwork Manager, the first meeting of our new look safeguarding team (minus the DSL! 😂), and we kicked off discussions with the wider team about shaping our strategic roadmap for the next 3 years as we look to finalise our new 3 year inspiring young people strategy. Thursday started on a high with a meeting alongside our new Head of Services and Targeted Service Manager (a brand-new role for us) to develop a 3-month plan from the new year for introducing direct engagement programmes for young people alongside our universal offer. The new strategy provide a clear focus on making sure we leave no young people behind. Today took me to Fleetwood to visit the new Boat House facility, love it. Had a brilliant chat with Sarah Lindsay about all things youth work, leadership challenges, and shared ideas. Was meant to be there for a couple of hours, ended up being 4. Definitely feeling inspired after this catch-up! It's a true privilege to be in a role where every day offers something new, and the opportunity for development and growth is constant. So proud of the work we’re doing and excited for what’s to come. P.S. If you haven’t seen our annual Christmas video yet, make sure to check it out. #Inspire #YouthWork #Leadership #Teamwork #Growth #Development #Christmas
In these colder months when we don't leave the house as often, it’s a reminder we all need a buddy! Whether it’s making friends, hanging with our awesome GREEN team, or finding a safe place to be yourself – we’re here for you. 💚 Let’s stick together this season and beyond!

Sometimes, letting the engineering team speak to the real problems can motivate the client towards real solutions. This whole notion of sales teams and engineering teams not being on the same page is a problem that I continually have to solve for companies, when brought in to handle "system issues". Sales teams provide feedback for engineers on the customer experience, and defines the fiscal opportunity/risk. Engineering teams provide insights to sales on design decisions, scheduling, known solutions, and should be the metric for a businesses productivity levels. It's very common for sales and engineering teams to not be on the same page, and the worst part of it is the number of companies who are okay keeping these skeletons in the closet - because who wants to take responsibility for the problem when it's you? #engineeringproblems #technicaldebt #brokencode #spaghetti #cicd #mismanagement #guidelines #regulations #procedures #mobileapp #softwaredeveloper

• Can you share a fun fact that your colleagues might not know about you? I have up to 9 dogs from the local rescue at my house every day to get them out of their kennels, and I take care of my two granddaughters' and my Grandma who is 101 1/2. • What’s your favorite memory from your time working at RMX? I think my favorite memories were during Christmas, especially when we did the white elephant game. • What's your go-to karaoke song? I don’t do karaoke, but I sing a lot of what I say; I can turn almost any conversation into an 80’s song. • What’s your favorite holiday and why? Christmas, everyone becomes nice for at least two weeks. • How has the industry changed during your time at RMX? We've transitioned away from paper, making the billing process more efficient, road safety has improved, and advancements in technology now help us better track our trucks.

🎉 Objekt turned 10 years old at the end of last year! What an incredible ride it’s been so far. Here are a few highlights from the past decade: 💷 Our first project ever — filming LCC’s end-of-year Arts grads showcase for £150. We couldn’t believe someone would actually pay us to do what we love! 🎨 Alex agreeing to get the Objekt logo tattooed on him after we secured our first £10k+ project. Vimeo Brand Studio commissioned it just 4 weeks later! 🏍 Our first overseas shoot — a cinematic doc featuring a 65-year-old Californian granny who took up motorbike racing at 60. 🍻 Our first office above 2 Northdown comedy club. Two years of free drinks (thanks, Nick). 🏉 Landing adidas as a client and working with the legend Maro Itoje. 🏡 Moving into our current home south of the river and decking out our very own space. 💡 Realising we had a proper business when we raised £155k in angel investment to spearhead our move into original content. 😅 Surviving the pandemic — a feat in itself! 🎥 Producing our first Snap shows – Mukbang Dates & StevoTheDadMan – and seeing the potential in creating and owning our own IP. 📺 Yoto returning to us to make their first-ever TVC — 7 years after we helped them with their Kickstarter launch. ❄️ Red Bull flying us to -20°C Finland to produce an absurd ice rally format with a freestyle rapper. 🎭 Being one of the first companies to work with Channel 4.0, landing pilots, TikTok-first series, and eventually Clone Heads – their biggest-ever commission. Now, 2025 is already shaping up to be a game-changer. More and more brands are waking up to the value of owning their audiences and growing YouTube channels with digital-first entertainment. Here’s to the next 10 years of Objekt. We’re just getting started. 🚀 Let me know if there are any highlights I missed! #10YearsOfObjekt #ContentCreation #DigitalEntertainment

You may recall the happy news we shared last month about Sheila McAneney's promotion to Division President! Well, now you get to learn 5 fun facts about Sheila 🖐️ 1️⃣ Go-to coffee order for work: "Dunkin’s... always decaf, with a touch of caramel and oat milk." 2️⃣ Music or silence for deep work? "It depends on the work, but for deep focus, you can find ocean sounds filling the silence." 3️⃣ Favorite team activity: "While I love a nice team dinner, I enjoy going to a good sporting event with the team and love when we can get together for paint night." 4️⃣ Best way to destress after work/favorite hobby: "I love reading or heading out for a drive to the beach. In New England, there are so many great beaches close by and I try to get to a beach often." 5️⃣ Favorite coworker? "Trick question! I love my team, but you can’t beat the days when I bring my toy poodle, Lulu, to the office." (#ICYMI, here's our post announcing Sheila's promotion: https://hubs.la/Q02R03t50)

It is nice sometimes to look back and reflect on the impact of people I've met/worked with had on me and celebrate their... (you name it) Here we go: Happy Birthday Maciej Juzon. Let the next year bring you all the fun and happy moments you can take. Cheers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- p.s.: I know it is professional media, however, it is good to step out sometimes of that realm and look at the human element in it.
