Agrain by Circular Food Technology’s Post

We're sometimes going on about spent grain as if it's something that everyone is already aware of... but the truth is that this enormous industry side stream is almost entirely hidden out of public view 🙆♀️ That’s the problem though, right? Out of sight, out of mind. That’s typically the approach we take to things that we consider useless, unappealing, or a problem that we simply cannot be bothered to deal with. Agrain is here to turn all that around, bringing #spentgrain not only into view – but slap bang on your dinner table. Spent grain is an enormous and valuable resource that, when utilized instead of discarded, has the potential to solve multiple problems at once: 🌾 reducing the environmental impact of food waste 🚀 boosting (plant-based) nutrition 🥖 clean-label alternative to colourants and flavourings 🌏 feeding the world, sustainably! So, here is a video so that you can see exactly how spent grain looks and how we mill it into a delicious and nutritious ingredient for food that is just as good for the planet as it is for you. Curious to find out more? We’re always happy to invite you and your company for a tour of our factory, so that you can see, smell, and of course taste spent grain flour for yourself.
