I'm excited to announce that my recent paper has been published by Jurnal Studi Sosial dan Politik UIN Raden Fatah Palembang which is identified as SINTA 4. Although, Indonesia has not signed the Convention of 1951 and the Protocol of 1967 about refugees, however, the authorities of Indonesia have managed multiple responses in managing asylum-seekers of Rohingya who arrived in numerous locations in Indonesia as an impact of ongoing crisis in Myanmar, specifically in Rakhine State. This paper concerns on analysing the Indonesian authorities' measures in dealing with the humanitarian crisis, using Theory of the Humanitarian Assistances for the Refugees as the grand theory of the research. Then, research reveals that in general, the governments of Indonesia have implemented required schemes such as (1) doing coordination with numerous stakeholders, (2) having clear regulations as guidelines, (3) mapping humanitarian parties, (4) allocating temporary settlements, and (5) preventing the future risks. However, for preventing social conflict with local people, the governments were not optimal in doing two agendas: making assimilation and ceasing the circulation of disinformation about Rohingya people on the internet. This week, I successfully participated in the planning and coordination of Turkana County Partners' Meeting. Participants were drawn from government and both humanitarian and development partner organizations operating in Kakuma and other stations within the county. This meeting provided a new platform for partners present to map out their presence across the sub-counties, share lessons learnt and identify common areas of interest and hold conversations on how to ensure that the impact is felt and translated to visible results. It was also an opportunity for honest feedback sharing between county government and partners-with discussions on CIDP, collaboration, financial transparency and accountability, reporting structures and development of the County Partner Coordination Framework. One thing I am grateful for is witnessing how partners are gradually warming up to this initiative-the tradition has always been working in silos. Now that all realize that the challenges faced on the ground are related, the landscape is set to change in the coming years. Mission accomplished! Presented the final report of the ERAT mid-term #evaluation to USAID Indonesia and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Indonesia. USAID ERAT (Tata Kelola Pemerintahan yang Efektif, Efisien, dan Kuat), or Efficient, Effective, and Strong Governance, is a 5-year program funded by USAID and managed by The Asia Foundation.

Prabowo Subianto's first speech as President of Indonesia in 2024 was indeed remarkable, as he delivered it flawlessly without the use of text or a teleprompter. The speech, which lasted about 52 minutes, showcased his ability to remember complex details, including the names of all foreign dignitaries in attendance, which highlighted his mental sharpness and preparedness for the role. His command over such specifics not only impressed the audience but also reinforced his commitment to building strong international relationships and effective leadership on a global stage. In his speech, he emphasized unity, the eradication of poverty, and the need for collaboration across all sectors to advance the country. He also extended gratitude to former presidents and assured the public that his administration would serve all Indonesians, regardless of whether they voted for him. This partnership supports USAID's localization efforts, empowering the Tanzanian government to take ownership of MEL processes and build sustainable, locally-driven development outcomes. The MOU will serve as a framework for collaborative capacity-building initiatives, strengthening the government's ability to oversee and evaluate development activities across sectors.
