🚨 Wake-Up Call on #WorldMentalHealthDay
How much longer will you put off your well-being?
You chase success, money, and recognition, telling yourself:
"I’ll focus on my health later."
"I’ll fix my relationships when I’m financially stable."
But later is an illusion.
It’s good to have goals—but at what cost?
If your well-being suffers:
Your company won’t save you.
The government won’t save you.
Only YOU can save yourself.
Stress doesn’t care about your deadlines.
Anxiety doesn’t care about your job title.
Burnout won’t wait for a convenient time.
Success won’t matter if you’re too sick to enjoy it.
So, what are you waiting for?
This World Mental Health Day, make a promise:
Prioritize #yourhappiness.
Take control of #yourwellbeing.
#ReclaimYou.
Join my 12-day wellness challenge (starting October 14, 2024) and kickstart your journey to a healthier, happier you—because if you don’t prioritize your wellbeing, no one else will.

Your work is important, but your health is even more crucial.
In today’s fast-paced world, many of us push ourselves to the limit, often at the expense of our well-being. This video serves as a powerful reminder that overexertion and unchecked stress can lead to burnout—and, in some cases, even more severe consequences.
Let’s remember:
- Take breaks throughout the day.
- Prioritize sleep, nutrition, and mental health.
- Encourage a workplace culture that values balance over burnout.
Your productivity is higher and more sustainable when you’re healthy, both physically and mentally. Let’s keep reminding ourselves and each other of this.

THE KEY TO MINIMIZING STRESS IS AN INSIDE JOB
For too many businesses and executives, work related stress is accepted as a fact of life. Whether it springs from an excessive workload, difficult interpersonal relations, the pace of change, or the challenge of balancing work and life needs, there always seems to be something to feel “stressed” about.
In a marketplace flooded with a plethora of “stress management” workshops, one approach stands out as being different from the norm. The principle-based understanding of Personal Mastery, honed and shared over the last twenty years by Success Is A Mind Game.
There is no shortage of different stress management workshops to choose from, but typically the stressed workers and executives just learn coping strategies, techniques and how to get more organised. This just treats the symptoms it does not address the source or how do they develop resiliency so they can sustain a healthy and balanced state to handle whatever situation may arise.
The point is, that we can’t ‘manage’ or control our way out of stress per se. What we can do however, is develop greater mental understanding of our process of thought, which can either help us to remain calm, avoiding the stress response in the first place, or to help us handle our reactions to the events or situations we will inevitably face.
A truly sustainable stress resolution is about moving beyond simple time management and organisational skills, to the real root solution of stress – How we understand and relate to the true process of what we think, feel and do’.
The majority of stress management interventions are based on an “outside – in” approach. External factors impinge on us, influencing what we think and feel, affecting our perceptions, and in turn our actions. Based on this model, “stress management” programmes teach different ways of “fixing” the external factors.
In contrast an “Inside-Out” approach enlightens people to the true source of stress, that is the weight of their habitual, fast paced and negative thinking - taken seriously. The levels of stress experienced by any particular individual are not necessarily related to the intensity of circumstances, but rather to the nature and process of thinking.
Consequently, stress can be “cured” by understanding how we create negative thinking, and that we have the power to make a choice and ability to set our thinking free.
When we do this our state of mind shifts, our perception of events becomes more objective and our inner state of mind and being calms down.

In our fast-paced work environments, it's easy to neglect our health amid the hustle. A recent conversation with a colleague reminded me of the importance of prioritizing our well-being. Time is constantly moving, and we often overlook our health due to work, family, and social obligations.
Our health should be our top priority for both personal well-being and professional performance. Here are a few best practices to maintain a healthy balance:
1. Exercise Regularly: Even a short daily walk makes a difference.
2. Eat Mindfully; Choose nutritious foods and stay hydrated.
3. Prioritize Mental Health: Seek professional help if needed.
4. Get Enough Sleep: Ensure your body gets proper rest.
5. Take Breaks: Incorporate short breaks during work.
6. Set Boundaries: Create clear work-life boundaries.
7. Stay Connected: Maintain relationships for emotional support.
Let’s prioritize our health amidst the hustle and ensure we are always at our best.

🔶 🅳O YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO, OR DOES IT SLOWLY CHIP AWAY AT YOU FOR THE SAKE OF A PAYCHECK?
🔷 Every day, 365 days a year, we make choices—some intentional, others unconscious. Work consumes a large part of our lives, but are we choosing a path that nourishes us or one that drains us?
🔺 Ancient Stoic philosopher Epictetus once said: “Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.” The question isn’t just about money; it’s about what truly fulfills you and aligns with your values.
🔸 At what cost are we pursuing success? Is it worth losing your mental health, the time with your family, and your holistic well-being? In the end, true wealth lies in balance, not burnout.
