Without a doubt, the workshop delivered by James Clampett from insight & foresight yesterday was a MASSIVE HIGHLIGHT! Here is James just before he went on stage at our Leadership Summit. He led our members and guests through a session exploring leading in the age of uncertainty ..and being open to the unknown. Leaders need to be comfortable in the era of not knowing. We need to reshape our thinking, the way we do business and lead into the future. If you want someone to work with your team or your Board around strategic foresight - James is your man. But don't expect the usual, expect to be challenged and be prepared to adopt a new way of thinking.

External factors also significantly support their leadership trajectories. This is why we are embarking on new research: The Push and Pull of Leadership. Phase One of our research explored the leadership lessons of 21 mid-level Asian American leaders (VPs & Directors) through their own voices. We uncovered insights on supporting mechanisms, organizational barriers, and key characteristics across multiple sectors. Phase Two will use a quantitative approach to dive deeper into the specific factors supporting Asian Americans' advancement into leadership roles.
