Many individuals in the private sector face challenges, including issues with job stability and protection from unfair practices. For instance, a private sector employee was reportedly cheated o ₹56 lakhs by a reputed south indian traditional 100 year company (TVS Group ) from Chennai,( Mannur Plant & Oragadam Plant) Tamilnadu in year 2018 by just sending employee out after extracting 28 years of work from age 21 ( spoiling their career by recruiting 10+2 , HSC candidates , without going college they all joined company), with no recourse due to limited labor law protections. As a result, their family, including dependent daughters, Sisters are suffering. Unfortunately, without sufficient funds, it is difficult for employees to fight such injustices by paying money to lawyer and go to court without job. All Mannur Plant +2 workers are sent out in VRS with low amount, >200 employees , 95% employees, for each employee there is 25 years service more. Totally 374 crores profit by sending them out and replacing with ACT apprentice, short term trainees and contract staff. They have 25 companies why don't transfer there. Because they don't want union and no permanent workers that's their policy. Just give notice and fire employee anytime. In Mannur Plant +2 students not to study further else you loose job threatened in 1990 year. Now after 28 years many kicked out , no job , no qualification. Many persons died due to this , a employee lost one leg in accident also sent out without mercy ( Mr.Edward Philip Xavier) he was working in HR. A employee died Mr.Raghu. Balance employees status not known. Brahmin community employee is there with job protection in HR ( Junior to Mr.Edward Philip Xavier) and he has been given double promotion. Currently, private companies have the discretion to hire and fire employees at will, which often places workers in a vulnerable position. This stands in contrast to the protections and privileges extended to government employees. I humbly urge you to consider this issue and explore possible reforms to ensure fair treatment and security for private sector employees and get back cheated amount ₹56 lakhs from reputed south Indian Tamilnadu employer and justice for others too.
