The cost of Hajj for Pakistanis next year and how it might impact those planning to embark on this sacred journey. As the government sets the price, it is expected to increase due to various factors, including rising inflation, exchange rates, and adjustments in travel expenses. Despite the challenges, the significance of Hajj as a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage for many remains paramount. With the Hajj package offering different tiers of service, travelers can expect varying costs depending on the facilities provided. These costs play a crucial role in determining accessibility for many Pakistanis wishing to fulfill their religious duty. #Hajj #Cost #Pakistan #Year

Minister of Religious Affairs of Pakistan, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, has unveiled the new Hajj Policy 2025 that includes an installment payment system for pilgrims so that the financial burden is lightened and more people across the country could make a sacred pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. Under this new scheme, an installment plan will also be followed in which payments will be spread right from the time of application till the final deposit. Under the new package, 179,210 pilgrims would be flown for Hajj and the amount would fall between Rs 1.075 million and Rs 1,175 million, according to the package of the governing body. Especially, the first-timers have been targeted by the governing body who will be given priority through the balloting system. Another provision of the new policy is a two-option travel package for people with differing time preferences. Another policy is involved in the travel restriction with children under 12; however, not traveling. The phased payment approach will ease the process for those keen on going for Hajj in terms of travel arrangements. This policy will be a big step for Pakistani citizens, and Hajj will become an easily possible affair for them. . . . #Hajj2025 #PakistanPolicy #HajjPaymentPlan #PakistaniPilgrims #ReligiousJourney #InstalmentPlan #PakistanGovernment #FirstTimePilgrims #HajjPackages #Pilgrimage #FinancialSupport #IslamicFaith #TravelFlexibility #BallotingProcess #ReligiousObligation #Tribunetrends

The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Bangladesh has launched a series of initiatives within the first 100 days of the interim government led by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus following the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s regime on August 5. Among these initiatives is a Tk100 crore project aimed at the development and beautification of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, alongside a Tk10 crore project funded by Kuwait to restore the historic Anderkilla Shahi Jame Mosque in Chattogram. Additionally, the ministry has formulated a unified pay scale for mosque staff nationwide. Furthermore, the ministry has successfully reduced the cost of Hajj packages for 2025 by lowering airfare and accommodation expenses, presenting two affordable government options. A cashless payment system for Hajj fees has also been introduced to streamline the payment process. The ministry facilitated a peaceful and vibrant celebration of Durga Puja to foster communal harmony and coordinated flood relief and medical assistance for affected regions through the Islamic Foundation. Investigations are underway regarding allegations of corruption linked to constructing model mosques under the previous administration, with corrective measures pledged upon the inquiry's conclusion. Al Jazeera English I believe the 3 distinct missle strikes against the World Central Kitchen is a deliberate act to successfully drive out the last major Food Aid agency in Gaza to deepen famine and put international pressure to accept Gazan refugees. Holistically, this strategy aligns cohesively with the current blocking of Food Aid in the South. It also illuminates the reason behind the initial disproportionate reaction against UNRWA. These seemingly complementary actions against Food Aids for the whole of Gaza illuminates the now obvious hidden agenda against UNRWA early in the conflict. It wasn’t about the Hamas threat in UNRAW. It was about Food and disabling a major potential Aid agency to bring relief to civilians following a planned famine initiated by indiscriminate carpet bombing of whole of Gaza. Please remember IDF continued to relentlessly murdered 176 UNRWA aid workers from last year to now - which is 1 out of 77 staff killed in Gaza of over 10000 total. The 7 WCK staff are almost the 200th aid workers deliberately murdered. Without any major Aid agency left, the time is significantly shorten for a physical and psychological shock of no food and water forward and no land, building or home to go back to. Given the now clear military operation of pushing everyone out of the North first. Then, force out most of population to the southern tip against Egypt. Plus the indiscriminate carpet bombing of North, followed by the South - which include burning hospitals and destroying schools - there is little chance this operation is not about permanent displacement, similar to the indigenous Americans more than a century ago. There is little question left in my mind this was always a precise execution of a prepared war plan to inflict a psychological and physical shock of war against a people thus forcing them and the international community to accept them as refugees. Once gone, they are never to return. The fact that there are real estate companies preparing land sale and settlement on smoking buildings tell you a lot about Israel’s intention. The 3 missiles strikes were sequential, not random. Its execution: surgical, not hurried. Its objective: not death, but starvation. #nytimes CNN #theguardian #skynews BBC News NPR NBC News

Image Source : FILE AP hajj in saudi arabia Meena: Braving scorching heat, Muslim pilgrims gathered in a huge tented camp in Mecca on Friday, officially marking the start of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The first thing they did was to circumambulate Islam’s holiest site, the Kaaba. Over 1.5 million pilgrims from across the world have already gathered in and around Mecca for the Hajj, and the number is set to rise with more pilgrims from Saudi Arabia joining in. Saudi authorities expect the number of pilgrims to exceed 2 million this year. <!-- /8323530/Khabar_Desktop_VDO_1X1 --> Palestinians could not go for Haj This year’s Hajj is taking place against the backdrop of an ongoing war between Israel and Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip that has pushed the entire West to the brink of a regional war, with Israel and its allies on one side and Iran-backed terrorist groups on the other. Palestinians living in Gaza’s coastal region were unable to travel to Mecca for Hajj this year because Israel closed the Rafah crossing in Gaza’s southern city bordering Egypt. The King of Saudi Arabia invited these people Palestinian officials said 4,200 pilgrims from the occupied West Bank arrived in Mecca for the Hajj. Saudi officials said more than 1,000 people from the families of Palestinians killed or wounded in the Gaza war also arrived to perform the Hajj at the invitation of Saudi King Salman. Before the Rafah crossing was closed, 1,000 invited people were already outside Gaza, most of them in Egypt. Direct flights from Damascus to Mecca This year Syrian pilgrims also travelled to Mecca on direct flights from Damascus for the first time in more than a decade. The move is part of an ongoing thaw in relations between Saudi Arabia and conflict-torn Syria. Syrians living in rebel-held areas previously had to cross the border into neighbouring Turkey for their journey to Mecca for the Hajj. Travel was affected due to Corona The annual hajj pilgrimage has resumed on its usual grand scale after three years of heavy restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic. More than 1.8 million pilgrims performed the hajj last year, close to the level of 2019 when more than 2.4 million people did it.
