Over the past few weeks, I've been immersed in the world of Deep Tech. Our partnership has embarked on the initial stages of research to investigate and understand the resources and structures within higher education institutions (HEIs), incubators, and accelerator partner institutions. Our focus is on identifying the needs, assets, strengths, and challenges surrounding #DeepTech in the Netherlands, Slovenia, Finland, France, Ireland, Austria, Turkey, Italy, and within our partner HEIs. Our approach includes a comprehensive literature review and asset mapping, alongside conducting interviews with current Deep Tech entrepreneurs, experts in the field, and educators from entrepreneurship departments and incubator/accelerator programmes associated with Deep Tech. Our ultimate goal is to develop and share a Deep Tech pathway within and beyond our partner regions.
