✨ Exams Coming Up? You’ll Want to See This! ✨ Struggling to stay focused or manage your study time? Here’s how you can study smarter, not harder! With exams around the corner, many students find themselves difficult to manage their time and study efficiently. Here are 5 effective study techniques from StartupYou that students can apply to their daily study sessions: 1️⃣ Create a To-Do List: Writing down your tasks and prioritizing them helps you stay organized and focused. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, you know exactly what needs to get done. 2️⃣ Set Clear Goals: Each study session should have a clear goal. Whether it’s completing a chapter or mastering a concept, goal-setting helps you stay on track and motivated. 3️⃣ Time Blocking: Time blocking allows you to dedicate uninterrupted blocks of time for each subject. Set an alarm or reminder to ensure you’re focused during those periods and avoid distractions. 4️⃣ Mind Mapping: When tackling complex subjects, mind mapping can make it easier to visualize and organize information. It’s a great way to connect ideas and help you retain them better. 5️⃣ Take Breaks: Studying for hours without a break leads to burnout. Taking short breaks helps you refresh your mind, so you can maintain focus and absorb more information. At StartupYou, we focus on empowering students with these techniques and more to help them boost productivity, manage their time better, and approach learning with creativity and critical thinking. 🚀 Want to learn how these techniques can help your child or students? 3 Pillars Teachers Need for More Income and Freedom: what I learned since working with teachers in 2019...👇👇 📊 Pillar 1: Strategy This is the knowledge, training, and skills you need to increase your income. It answers questions like how to make more money, what you can do to boost my income, and what opportunities are available to me. This has been our primary focus at Bowei Strategy for many years until I realized the importance of the next two pillars. 💻 Pillar 2: Technology Surprised? Maybe not. Many teachers struggle with technology, and if you don't manage your tech skills, it can affect not just your productivity but also your confidence. I've met many teachers who are hesitant to explore new income avenues because they feel intimidated by technology. A lack of tech skills can physically paralyze you from implementing the strategies you've learned. 💡 Pillar 3: Mindset Familiar with this one? Imposter syndrome, perfectionism, fear of failure, self-doubt, fear of rejection, and yes, even fear of success are all significant barriers. But that's okay—everyone faces mindset challenges, myself included, and they are a major hurdle for me too. We just need to acknowledge these challenges and learn to manage them, so they don't mentally paralyze us from taking action. Technology and mindset are critical components that support strategy. They determine whether you can implement your plans effectively. Teachers who focus solely on strategy and ignore the challenges posed by technology and mindset might find themselves perpetually stuck in the planning phase. That's why many teachers end up taking course after course, getting certificates after certificates without being able to address the real barriers to action: technology and mindset. Does this resonate with you? 🚀 So comment and let us know: Which pillar(s) would you like to work on next? Hello LinkedIn, Over the past 5 years, I’ve immersed myself in self-learning and discovered just how powerful self-education can be. I’ve put together an article that dives into why this approach is so crucial for unlocking your potential and finding success. "Unlock Your Potential: Why Self-Education is the Secret Sauce to Success" In a world where we can access almost any information at a moment’s notice, waiting around for someone else to guide you can mean missing out. Today, success isn’t just about having a degree; it’s about taking control of your learning, constantly adapting, and carving out your own unique path. "Adaptability: Staying Ahead in a Changing World" The world is shifting faster than ever, and being able to adapt is key. Self-education gives you the tools to embrace new technologies, industries, and opportunities, helping you not just keep up with change, but thrive in it. "Personalized Learning: Focusing on What Matters to You" Unlike the traditional education system, which often takes a one-size-fits-all approach, self-education lets you focus on what really matters to you. Whether you’re learning a new language, perfecting a skill, or diving into entrepreneurship, you have the freedom to tailor your learning to fit your personal goals and passions. "Lifelong Learning: Growing With Every Step" Learning doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom—it’s a lifelong journey. Embracing self-education helps you stay curious and open to new ideas, ensuring that you continue to grow and evolve in a world that never stops changing. Let’s all tap into the power of self-education and commit to a journey of ongoing learning and growth. #SelfEducation #PersonalDevelopment #ContinuousLearning #Adaptability #SuccessSkills

Are you pursuing 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? Have you purchased multiple courses on Edtech platforms… Just to have them lying around in your digital library? If yes, they are only helping with SHELF development (digital shelf)… And 𝗻𝗼𝘁 with your 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. I have been guilty of this as well. I used to purchase multiple courses because: - It was a certification that I wanted to do for ‘future growth’ - They were related to a ‘learning goal’ set by my company - They ‘seemed highly relevant’ to what I did at work - There was a ‘sale’ going on Purchasing them makes you feel good for a while… Because it triggers a reward chemical in our brains. However, after some time, they are not as exciting. They become another tab on your browser. Or go into a to-do black hole. Why are you not able to pursue those courses? What’s the root cause? It is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 that you do not have the time. You have time for things that you give priority to. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. Clarity about: - Your core values - Your unique strengths - Your long-term vision (how you want your life experience to be) Without these, you are just shooting in the dark. Clarity is power. When you have clarity: - Imagine how much you can accelerate your growth in life - Imagine how much time and money you can save - Imagine how strategic you can be Whenever you feel the need for clarity for personal/professional growth, feel free to reach out. ~~~~ 📌 I help working professionals build fulfilling careers by leveraging their strengths and experience. 👉 DM & Let's chat if you are serious about learning more. 🔔 Follow me on Gautham H Srikrishhnaa for more. ♻️ Repost to help someone. #selfdevelopment #holisticgrowth #clarity

You can forget everything you're learning if you do this. A past student of mine reached out to me a few days ago to ask about something I taught her last month, and I reminded her that I actually taught her a while ago. She said she had forgotten what I told her to do because she didn't put it into practice, despite my instructions to do so. In my opinion, the best time to start practising is as soon as you learn something new. Practising not only reinforces the information in your memory but also helps develop muscle memory, allowing you to do anything related to your skill even in your sleep. Practicing - ‼️ Helps improve your skills. ‼️ Makes you more confident in yourself. ‼️ Helps you develop a deeper understanding of things you weren't even taught. ‼️ Makes you learn faster. So, don't wait to put your new skills to use; start practising today! I wish you all the best in your journey. P.S. Registration for the next cohort is still on. We teach digital and tech skills that you can build on and earn from. Send me "Cohort 10" as a direct message to enroll or make enquiries. Seeing my post for the first time? ❤️ More students, less time. 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 changed everything for me. Here is how I made it work 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙩. When I started teaching, I knew one thing for sure – groups made sense. I’m an extrovert and I feel alive when I can bring people together. But beyond that, groups have always been the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚, the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘, and honestly, the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙪𝙣 for me. So I built my business around them. #NinaEnglishStory continued... Teaching 1:1, I could only take on so many students at a time. With groups, I reached 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚, worked 𝙛𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨, and could fully develop my experiential courses without coursebooks. But let’s be real, running group courses isn’t without challenges. Some common worries: ✅ Will students be at a similar level? ✅ Will the group dynamic work? ✅ Will my idea work in a group setting? ✅ Can I manage multiple people at once? ✅ How do I deal with a troublemaker? And here’s what I’ve learned: 👉 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. A short discovery call helps ensure students are the right fit for both the level and the group dynamic. It also gives you a chance to set expectations, so students know what to expect and feel more committed from the start. 👉 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝟭:𝟭 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱. Not everyone is ideal for group courses, and that’s okay. Knowing when to recommend individual lessons saves you headaches later. The key is to recognize early on who feels comfortable in a group setting and who might struggle, so everyone benefits. 👉 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲. The more structure and tools you have, the smoother your groups run. Automation, clear guidelines, and repeatable frameworks help you stay focused on teaching instead of constantly managing logistics. At one point, I was running 10 groups, 7 for adults and 3 for children. That meant managing not just students, but also other teachers, parents, expectations, and group dynamics on 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹. This week, I’ll share more practical tips for making group courses work effortlessly. For now, let’s chat 👇 ❓ 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Would you rather teach groups or 1:1? Why? What do you love (or struggle with) the most? ********************************** 🔶 As a 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 for women languagepreneurs I will empower you to find fulfillment and success in your teaching journey. 🟡 Join my 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗘𝗟𝗧 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗦 – click here: www.NinaEnglish.cz - “For teachers”

The World Was Built by People No Smarter Than You Ever felt that you’re surrounded by people far more intelligent than you? I did too! The global dynamics have shifted in the past few decades. There is more competition now than ever before. Everyone is doing the SAME thing but with a unique twist. And that’s all it takes to WIN in today’s world. But how does one become unique in an oversaturated market? LEARN. UNLEARN. RELEARN. I was taught outdated concepts throughout my student life. Concepts that are not relevant in today’s day and age. How did I unlearn them? It’s simple. I researched the things I learned and found how much they have changed. For instance, I was taught that Social Media is a waste of time. Now, the people who taught me that are running succesful businesses on it. Ironic no?. The internet is more powerful today than it was a decade ago. This is why you need to Learn, Unlearn, and Relearn! But how do we do it? Here’s a roadmap, Learn 1) Experiment with new skills. 2) Stay updated on current trends. 3) Take failures as a learning opportunity. Unlearn 1) Embrace curiosity, question everything. 2) Be open-minded. Listen actively. 3) Be well-informed. Relearn 1) Prioritize self-improvement. 2) Balance tradition with innovation. 3) Stay humble, keep learning. ^ There’s no stopping us if we master these. What have you unlearned recently? What inspires you to keep learning? Let’s chat in the comments! Thanks for reading. If you like this post, repost ♻ to share it with your network. #PersonalGrowth #Unlearning #Entrepreneurship

For as long as I can remember, my life has been a journey of learning, growing, failing, trying, and trying again - knowing that personal growth was the only way to create something better from where I started. Life, generally speaking, isn’t always an easy path, and for many of us, it’s filled with challenges that test us. But the beauty of personal growth is that it opens doors, gives you choices, and allows you to shape your own future. Four years ago, I began giving live masterclasses, sharing everything I’d learned along the way. I’ll be honest, self-doubt was always there, whispering, ‘Is this really making a difference? Is it good enough?’ The truth is, people don’t always tell you when your words or work have impacted them. But every now and then, I could see the ripple effect- a life it changed, a business it transformed, or a new journey inspired. In the past six months, @Ciaran Wheeler my partner in this venture (a key driving force and the push behind bringing this to life), and I have poured countless hours into a project that means so much. Together, we’ve digitized the course, creating the Most Effective website to share the Meta You Course (Most Effective Tactics Available) with the world. From late-night video editing to building the learning management system and experience, to preparing social media channels across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and more, this process has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. If this work helps even one person see their potential, transform their life, grow their business, and uplift their people, every moment spent will have been worth it. Here’s to always trying one more time - and to the hope that each step forward inspires someone else to do the same. www.mosteffective.co.za

The world around us is in constant motion, and so are the industries we work in. It's like trying to build a sandcastle on a windy beach; the moment you think you've got it figured out, the tides shift, and everything changes. This constant flux demands more than just #learning; it requires the ability to #unlearn. I'm not saying you need to throw everything you know out the window. Unlearning is more about recognizing when your old ways of doing things are holding you back. It's about staying curious, questioning the way things have always been done, and being willing to change how you think and #work so you can keep up in a world that's always moving forward. I mean, just think about it. Industries are changing so fast these days. #Tech, #healthcare, even the way we do #marketing - it's like a constant whirlwind. If you cling to old ways, you'll be left in the dust before you know it. Yes, I get it. Unlearning can be a bit scary. We all like our routines and the things we're familiar with. But if we want to keep up, we need to be willing to change and learn new things. The good thing is, unlearning is something you can get better at, just like learning anything new. It takes #practice, but it gets easier. The more you do it, the less scary the change seems. And that's when you really start to #grow. So, here's to unlearning! To questioning the status quo, embracing new ideas, and constantly evolving. Because in today's world, if you're not changing, you're falling behind. #unlearning #success #growth #andsolutions
