Governor Ron DeSantis has signed #SB328 into law, enhancing last year's #LiveLocalAct. This new legislation increases tax advantages for developers, adds new incentives for transit-oriented developments, and ensures single-family neighborhoods will be protected. #BilzinSumberg Land Development & Government Relations Partner Anthony De Yurre, Esq, LLM said, “I think you will see a lot of projects being submitted in the City of Miami and around transit-oriented projects in Miami-Dade County. We want to do infill projects that are close to transit and close to employment opportunities.” The state law is an attempt to address the affordable housing crisis that threatened to displace working-class and middle-class families as well as essential workers such as police, firefighters, nurses, and teachers.
