Yard House Best on tap 2024 in the books. Congratulations to all the bartenders that made it some of the best talents out there till next year. By all means not an easy competition pour testing, detailed recipe knowledge, beer knowledge, blind beer tasting, wine knowledge description taste profiles, along with speed and hospitality. The judging, comes down to a fraction an ounce. A lineup of beers and describing the taste profile and what type of beer it is what kind of style it is. What kind of varietal that wine is just by the smell and taste. Is it two drops of bitters or four is it a lemon or an orange ?Doing all this while lineup of judges analyzes your every move. Do you have what it takes to best on tap?

While I am a die hard LA Sparks fan 😀, I have upmost appreciation for A’ja Wilson as an amazing person and absolute beast of a basketball player! Two takeaways from this clip is authentic leadership and surround yourself with people who support you being your best. She exemplifies authentic leadership. You are always going to receive A’ja in all of her glory. The wide range of emotions that she exudes on and off the court with her team are refreshingly authentic. She has high expectations for herself and her team as her team tries for their third WNBA title. As leader you know that you can’t do it all alone and there is a moment in which she appreciation for her teammates holding her accountable. The vulnerability as a leader to acknowledge your humanity and state I have bad days too is remarkable insight into psychological safety. As a leader, I have created an environment where I can let you know I am not at my best and I am open to receive feedback when I am not giving my best is a blessing. Accountability to notice you are not at your best and to lend support is whatever leader and team needs. #authenticleadership #yourcirclematters

England Euros Victory Worth£800M to Nations Pubs Pubs and bars could be set for an almost billion pound boost, if the Three Lions are victorious this summer. As the tournament kicks off, new analysis from leading trade body UKHospitality estimates the group stage alone will generate an additional £340m in sales for hospitality venues across the UK, rising to £800m if England win the tournament. Two in five Brits planning to watch the football will do so in pubs and bars, with sales of beer increasing by 14% on matchdays, according to CGA by NIQ. Kate Nicholls, Chief Executive of UKHospitality, said: “The nation is set to be gripped by the Euros, with fans filling our pubs and bars to cheer on the home nations. “Outside of being at the games in Germany, we know the pub is the number one place to watch live sport and hospitality businesses can’t wait for the tournament to begin. “The group stage alone will provide an additional £340 million in sales, but England lifting the trophy could see almost a billion pound boost for our pubs – adding just one more reason to get behind the Three Lions.” Read More:

On my way to judge a coffee competition, and I’m reminded of how vital community is in our industry. As someone who has competed, coached, judged, and trained judges, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of a strong, supportive community. The coffee community thrives on collaboration and mutual support.
