DO YOU KNOW That one common mistake students make is studying only when the exam is near It’s the first week of the semester, and most students have that classic thought, "I’ve got time, the exams are months away." Before you know it, weeks turn into months, and now it’s the 7th or 8th week, then... panic sets in. One of the most damaging mistakes students make is waiting until the exams are right around the corner before hitting the books. This last-minute rush leads to cramming, focusing too much on one topic, and often missing out on essential areas of study. Worse still, it can create unnecessary pressure, making it harder to retain information, and in some cases, students mix up concepts due to stress. There’s never really enough time to study everything perfectly. Instead of waiting for that perfect moment, you need to create a consistent study routine from day one. But to avoid that, here's what you should do; ➜ Avoid Procrastination: Start with small study blocks early in the semester. Build momentum with manageable sessions each day rather than leaving everything until the last minute. ➜ Set Micro-Goals: Break your syllabus into chunks and tackle a bit every day. By the 9th week you’ll have covered far more than you would have if you’d waited. ➜ Review Regularly: Don’t just skim; review your notes consistently. This helps with retention and keeps your mind sharp for exams. If this didn't work for me, I wouldn't have shared it with you. By staying consistent from the start, you'll avoid the stress of cramming, feel more confident in your knowledge, and improve your chances of performing well. ------------ Connect with Ibraheem Yisa to be added to my network and gain more useful insights! 📢Do well to Engage and Repost ♻️ if you got value ✍️... 3rd Year Started and Nothing at All Improved... So, here we are, officially starting our 3rd year of college, and it feels like absolutely nothing has changed. 》My room is still a chaotic mess, my study habits are as effective as a tea but cold. 》College life is funny. We enter with high hopes, convinced you’ll be that model student with a 10.00 CGPA and a perfectly organized life. Somehow, three years in, the only you will learn and know the real struggle behind big dreams.✅️ But yeah, on the bright side, at least I’ve become a master at dodging responsibilities. This chaotic, unchanged routine? It’s actually kind of comforting. It means I’m doing what I love, even if it’s just figuring out how to survive another day. Sometimes, being genuine and targeting simple goals is enough to keep you moving forward. Just keep going ONNN...✅️ #linkedinforcreators #LinkedIndaily #LinkedIn

A test can either take you forward or make you stagnant or backward. I liken a test to the ACTUAL TEST a student take in school. Once the student passes the test, he or she is promoted right? But once he or she fails the test, it is either the student remains in that same level which will bring about backwardness. So you see, whenever we are faced with a test, we should be conscious not to fail. Mind you, no one told you that the test will be an easy one. But if you study well; if you are knowledgeable that this can pave way for a better dimension for you, then you will thrive to pass it. In between, NEVER CONFUSE A TEST WITH A TEMPTATION; they are two different things. Do you know the difference? Do well to share in the comment section. Do want to know the difference? Do well to read in the comment section. Thank you and enjoy the new week in God. #stayfocused!

I used to think studying alone was my best bet. Lock myself in my room, turn off my phone, and just grind through the material. But no matter how hard I tried, I always hit a wall. I’d get frustrated, overwhelmed, and honestly... a little lonely. It felt like I was carrying the entire weight of my exams on my own shoulders. Then one day, a friend casually quizzed me before a big test, and something clicked. 🤯 Having someone ask me questions suddenly made the information stick. I wasn’t just reading passively—I was engaging, recalling, and challenging my brain in real time. That’s when I learned the power of having someone test you. 💪🏼 It’s not about feeling like you’re on trial; it’s about reinforcing what you know and exposing the gaps so you can fill them before test day. There’s something about being put on the spot (even in a kind and supportive way) that helps me focus in a way I just can’t achieve on my own. 🧠 If you’re feeling stuck or like your study sessions aren’t cutting it, try bringing someone into the process—ask a friend, sibling, or even a study buddy online. It’s a total game-changer. Ready to learn more about why this strategy works? As the clock struck midnight, Aarav sat at his study desk, scrolling through social media posts filled with ambitious New Year resolutions. His own notebook lay open, filled with promises to "study harder," "stay organized," and "wake up early." But deep down, Aarav knew this wasn’t the first time he had made such commitments. Last year, and the year before that, similar goals had been scribbled and forgotten within weeks. He continued to sleep through alarms, cram for exams at the last minute, and procrastinate until deadlines loomed. Despite the turn of the calendar, nothing in his routine had truly changed. One day, Aarav’s teacher casually remarked in class, "A new year only matters if you create a new you. Otherwise, it’s just another year." The statement lingered in Aarav’s mind, sparking a desire to break the cycle. Instead of making grand, overwhelming promises, he decided to start small. He began with a 30-minute study session each evening and gradually replaced late-night gaming with reading. Slowly but surely, his grades improved, and his confidence soared. For the first time, Aarav felt the weight of his actions shaping his future. The year wasn’t just new by name—it became a turning point in his life. #Storytelling #NewYearResolution #OverComeProcrastination #AimInLife #AchieveGradually

Over a month ago, I convoked and bagged a First Class degree. I thought it wise to share tips on navigating campus life as an undergraduate while maintaining excellence. Here are ten tips: 1. Be intentional about graduating with good grades. It opens doors. Aim for a First Class or at least a Second Class Upper. 2. Build networks. Connect with people and join associations. Networking shapes your perspective and helps you grow. Make good friends. 3. Aside from schooling, learn a skill and start building your financial life. This will save you from unnecessary financial pressure. 4. Seek mentorship. Relate with your lecturers; trust me, they are an avalanche of experience. Also, connect with your seniors and seek help when necessary. 5. Get involved in extracurricular activities. You’re not just in school to graduate with good grades but also to build your personality. Engage in activities beyond the four walls of the classroom. Have fun. 6. Volunteer. Be ready to learn from others by intentionally giving your time in exchange for knowledge. 7. Know what works best for you. Don’t try to copy others. Grow at your own pace, not theirs. 8. Be disciplined. Avoid procrastination at all costs. 9. Don’t look down on any classmate. You might need their help someday. Treat everyone with dignity and respect. 10. Believe in God for a better future. He knows best and has the perfect plan for your life. There you have it! 😁 Keep Budding! Keep Building! Keep Being Great! Happy Sunday 😊 She is Peace Adejumo #LinkedIn #FirstClass #Motivation

✨The journey of unlearning: Remember the gold stars on homework, the perfect report cards, the Instagram likes, the LinkedIn achievements. Life becomes a collection of external nods - parents' proud smiles at academic awards, boss's appreciation emails saved in folders, social media posts carefully curated for maximum validation. Between "log kya kahenge" and "kitne likes aaye," we learn to measure our worth through others eyes. Each promotion, each compliment, each public recognition becomes oxygen, yet somehow, the breath never feels deep enough. But then comes that quiet moment - maybe after getting that dream job and still feeling empty, or after posting that perfect photo and anxiously checking notifications every minute. Something shifts. You start catching yourself - before asking ten people about a simple decision, before changing your opinion because someone disagreed, before saying yes when your heart whispers no. The real journey begins in these small moments: wearing what feels comfortable rather than fashionable, choosing peace over performance, finding joy in unposted moments. Suddenly, that presentation matters less for the applause and more for the fear you faced, that hobby brings joy without an audience, and that quiet evening alone feels complete without any witnesses to validate it. #SelfWorth #InnerGrowth #AuthenticLiving #Unlearning
