DO YOU KNOW That one common mistake students make is studying only when the exam is near It’s the first week of the semester, and most students have that classic thought, "I’ve got time, the exams are months away." Before you know it, weeks turn into months, and now it’s the 7th or 8th week, then... panic sets in. One of the most damaging mistakes students make is waiting until the exams are right around the corner before hitting the books. This last-minute rush leads to cramming, focusing too much on one topic, and often missing out on essential areas of study. Worse still, it can create unnecessary pressure, making it harder to retain information, and in some cases, students mix up concepts due to stress. There’s never really enough time to study everything perfectly. Instead of waiting for that perfect moment, you need to create a consistent study routine from day one. But to avoid that, here's what you should do; ➜ Avoid Procrastination: Start with small study blocks early in the semester. Build momentum with manageable sessions each day rather than leaving everything until the last minute. ➜ Set Micro-Goals: Break your syllabus into chunks and tackle a bit every day. By the 9th week you’ll have covered far more than you would have if you’d waited. ➜ Review Regularly: Don’t just skim; review your notes consistently. This helps with retention and keeps your mind sharp for exams. If this didn't work for me, I wouldn't have shared it with you. By staying consistent from the start, you'll avoid the stress of cramming, feel more confident in your knowledge, and improve your chances of performing well. ------------ Connect with Ibraheem Yisa to be added to my network and gain more useful insights! 📢Do well to Engage and Repost ♻️ if you got value ✍️... Go to College only for this 👇 Why go to College? 😆 That’s a question that’s been asked for ages… 😁 and here’s what I’ve found: Go to College: ✅ To learn what love feels like, so they know what heartbreaks feel like. ✅ To learn to think freely, so they can solve problems. ✅ To learn to build connections, so they know who’s a true friend and who’s not. ✅ To develop critical thinking, so they learn to ask the right questions. ✅ To read between the lines, so they don’t trust everyone blindly. ✅ To learn to be alone, so they understand how it all ends. ✅ To learn the truth about money, so they can appreciate the freedom it brings. And so on and on…. And at the very bottom of this list? ✅ Studying the age-old syllabus, to omit the answers just to pass the exam. So they know it alone takes them nowhere Honestly, I’m not sure why this should even be on the list, but hey, we need to pass, right? 🙃 So Included, no offense…. Hi, I'm Ram Raju, feeling the same vibe, Let's connect 😁 #linkedincontent #linkedinpost #discoveryourself #criticalthinking

I used to think studying alone was my best bet. Lock myself in my room, turn off my phone, and just grind through the material. But no matter how hard I tried, I always hit a wall. I’d get frustrated, overwhelmed, and honestly... a little lonely. It felt like I was carrying the entire weight of my exams on my own shoulders. Then one day, a friend casually quizzed me before a big test, and something clicked. 🤯 Having someone ask me questions suddenly made the information stick. I wasn’t just reading passively—I was engaging, recalling, and challenging my brain in real time. That’s when I learned the power of having someone test you. 💪🏼 It’s not about feeling like you’re on trial; it’s about reinforcing what you know and exposing the gaps so you can fill them before test day. There’s something about being put on the spot (even in a kind and supportive way) that helps me focus in a way I just can’t achieve on my own. 🧠 If you’re feeling stuck or like your study sessions aren’t cutting it, try bringing someone into the process—ask a friend, sibling, or even a study buddy online. It’s a total game-changer. Ready to learn more about why this strategy works? I lost my friends last year. Since then, I don’t have anyone to hang out with. My friends called up me, sometimes I picked up the call and cut it off in 1 minute, and sometimes I didn’t pick up the call. Why was I doing this?🤔 👉Last year, I was preparing for the CAT exam since my 1st attempt didn’t go well, so I stayed fully focused on cracking it on my 2nd attempt. 👉That’s why I started ignoring everything—my friends, family, and even my Instagram account, where I had 7,000 followers and was growing. Looking back, I realize I should have made time for them. It was a special time in my life, and I didn’t appreciate it then. Now, all my friends have moved to different cities for studies or jobs. They’re busy, and we hardly talk anymore. It’s important to make time for the people who care about you. We all get busy with work, studies, and our careers, but we should still find out time for our parents, loved ones, and friends. Time doesn’t wait for anyone, so make sure to cherish those moments. How do you make time for the important people in your life? #worklifebalance #personaldevelopment #catexam #socialmedia #contentcreation

So I have generally observed that people tend to eliminate distractions. For example, if a student decides to prepare for competitive exam, then he’ll cut himself off from social media. I personally feel that elimination is not the solution instead not getting distracted from the distractions is the solution because at the end, the world is full of them. What we need to work upon is our focus. Your views are welcomed! #views #focus #distractions #eliminatingdistractions #thoughts #inspire

"My son, a 10th grader, sat down to study for a big exam with his laptop open, determined to ace his test... or so he thought." He started with an educational video, fully focused and motivated. But then, just for a quick break, he clicked on a funny video. That one video led to another, and before he knew it, two hours had flown by in a blur of memes and social media. Sound familiar? As a parent, I’ve seen how the internet can be both a blessing and a curse. It’s an incredible resource for learning, but it’s also packed with distractions that can easily derail even the best intentions. I’ve been working with my son on setting boundaries—using the internet intentionally, staying disciplined, and making sure that screen time is productive time. It's a lesson we can all benefit from, no matter our age. How do you help your kids or yourself stay focused online? Share your strategies in the comments below! 👇 #Parenting #Education #Focus #OnlineLearning #Productivity #InternetWisdom

A quick one guys..... Exam Timetable has been out for a while now;guess what ?I just saw it yesterday 😂. I know you will be wondering what sort of student I am; don't worry I am also asking myself the same question so we're in this together 😂. Just a few months into the semester and exam is starting soonest. Me to my school: What's it? haven't you done enough 😩. Despite the fact that showing up here is one of my priority;I won't also forget that studying and making my parents proud is another. I will be off social media for a few months;so don't miss me too much🤗. I will come back more stronger and prepared. Learn to prioritize things in your life; so you get valuable results. PS:How do you navigate both online presence and exam periods? You can share you experience in the comment section.
