Hello LinkedIn family, I am ecstatic to share that I have completed my master’s thesis titled "Models and Measures for Supply Chain Resilience" at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Software- und Systemtechnik ISST, Dortmund. This thesis represents my passion for aviation and my drive to contribute meaningful insights to the aerospace industry. During my thesis, I developed models that amalgamate AI, Digital Twins, and Blockchain techniques into aviation supply chains. I also assessed the technological impacts on future aircraft development programs for aerospace OEMs, using insights from the #A350XWB case study and other use cases. Additionally, my recommendations will assist stakeholders in strategic decision-making by providing them with data-driven insights, thus enhancing efficiency, transparency, and agility in their processes. I owe a special thanks to my supervisors, Mr. Tom Meyer and Prof. Dr. Cordelia F., for their unwavering support and guidance throughout this journey. The last three months at #FraunhoferISST have been invaluable, considering how much I have learned, not just academically, but also personally. The transition from receiving my offer letter to submitting my thesis has been remarkably smooth, and I could not be more thankful to Fraunhofer ISST for their diligence. This thesis holds a significant essence to me as an avid aviation enthusiast. The opportunity to contribute resourceful and innovative ideas to the aerospace industry is something I am incredibly appreciative of. Even if my research contributes just 0.1% towards enhancing supply chain resilience for aerospace OEMs, I feel truly grateful for this chance to make a difference. My heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Tom Meyer for believing in my potential and providing me with this incredible opportunity in the first place. Fraunhofer ISST was the first German organization I had the honor of being associated with, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart. 🌟 Introducing Vortifer© by KMTC Technologies Holding! 🌟 We are thrilled to formally unveil our innovative Vortifer© platform. Over the past few years, we have transformed a visionary idea into a robust concept, securing patents, conducting successful tethered flights, and establishing a solid business support and management structure. Our dedicated R&D team, in collaboration with various institutions, universities, and businesses, has worked tirelessly to achieve our current status, supported by sufficient funding. On September 20th, 2024, our joint research and development team gathered at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) for an impactful face-to-face meeting. The day featured insightful presentations from our esteemed development partners, Tplus Engineering, THI and Technologietransferzentrum Unbemannte Flugsysteme Manching providing a comprehensive overview of the current state. Additionally, Dr. Jochen Wild presented a detailed review of the simulation study conducted by DLR on behalf of KMTC in 2020. We achieved consensus on our past accomplishments, evaluated our current progress, and outlined the next steps toward developing a test prototype capable of flight (if we choose!). This prototype will play a crucial role in testing various control setups. We are eager to explore private equity investment and collaboration opportunities.
