As the year winds down, I find myself reflecting on everything the wins, the challenges, and the lessons in between. What went well? For me, it was leaning into opportunities I never thought I’d be ready for. From balancing motherhood, caregiving, and building a business, I surprised myself with how much I could handle when I stayed focused. What didn’t? Let’s be honest, some days I felt completely overwhelmed. Doubt crept in more than once, and there were times I felt like giving up. But those moments taught me the most. What did I learn? • Growth happens outside your comfort zone. • Progress isn’t about speed—it’s about consistency. • And most importantly, I’m capable of more than I ever imagined. As I step into the new year, my focus is clear: to continue showing up for myself, my family, and the people I’m helping along the way. What about you? Take a moment to look back. 2024 marked a monumental leap forward for biologit. biologit MLM-AI, and the newly launched biologit Database solidified their positions as industry leaders. Exceeding the milestone of 100 enterprise licenses was not just a testament to our technological excellence but also a validation of the trust and value our partners place in our solutions. This year wasn’t only about numbers but also about innovation. The product enhancements and the launch of the database for local literature opened new possibilities for active safety surveillance, addressing the needs of enterprises globally. Each new client brought fresh challenges and opportunities, pushing us to refine our technology and expand our impact. My Year in Numbers: Personally, I thought I’d taken a quieter approach to travel this year—only to discover I’d boarded 38 flights! Living on an island, my only other choice is by boat 🚣♀️ 😅. On the ground, I represented biologit at 16 events—as a speaker, panelist, and networker. Each event was a platform to share biologit's vision, strengthen partnerships, and absorb insights from a dynamic industry. The demands of this visibility extended beyond logistics to wardrobe upgrades: my conference suits saw a stylish evolution from Massimo Dutti to Max Mara Fashion Group (thank goodness for that 50% discount!). Looking Ahead to 2025: The horizon looks even brighter for 2025. If projections hold, biologit will surpass 1,000 enterprise licenses. This isn’t just growth; it’s transformation and scale! The next year promises to amplify everything we’ve worked for—more innovation, more partnerships, and even more travel (time to strategise a more sustainable wardrobe plan).

For those that need it, here's a picture of the sunrise this morning 🙂 . So, Wednesday 2nd October was a milestone for me. It was my 40th birthday 🎉 I can’t say that I was thrilled at the thought of this milestone coming my way, but it made me reflect nonetheless and I thought I’d share: 1)   💡   Don’t underestimate the power of now: The present moment is what matters. Apart from having a great time with friends and family, I appreciated the company and the various faces that have been in some way part of my life. 2)     💡 Surround yourself with good people who are in your corner: Appreciate those that will celebrate with you when you do well and look out for you when you aren’t; those are the people who want to see you win. You’ll soon filter through the ones who are trapped in their own ego’s and don’t want to see you do well. 3)    💡  Be in the corner of others: No one is "self-made", people and community matter as much in life as they do in business. So find someone who needs you to be in your corner for them and celebrate them and their successes like its your own (purely because you care and not because you might need them to return a favour or two).

TIME TO CELEBRATE! It’s important to pause and reflect on the progress we've made—both individually and as a team. - Professionally and personally too. In the hustle of day-to-day tasks, it’s easy to overlook how far we’ve come. This year has been full of challenges, wins, and growth, and it's essential to take a moment to appreciate our hard work and the strides we've made—personally and professionally. Whether it's new skills acquired, goals achieved, or moments of resilience, every step counts. As a team, we've collaborated, supported one another, and pushed toward shared goals. Together, we've achieved more than we might realise. As Robert Collier says: "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." What are you most proud of in 2024? Over the holidays, I took the time to unplug and enjoy precious moments with my family—a choice I’ll always value. 💙 While I haven’t finalized my 2025 goals yet, I’m gearing up to complete them in the coming days. That increases the likelihood of achieving them by 42%! 📈 For me, goal setting isn’t just about the destination—it’s about creating focus, building momentum, and setting a clear direction.
