On Friday I was invited to host a GTM Q&A workshop for SaaS founders of the MediaTech Hub Accelerator accelerator. It was a 60-minute Q&A and I got really good questions. We covered topics around: 1️⃣ What market segment to focus on 2️⃣ LinkedIn as a growth channel 3️⃣ Investing money in paid channels? 4️⃣ How to measure product market fit 5️⃣ North star metric & what kind of metrics to focus on And a lot more. It seems like I will do more GTM Q&A sessions in 2025. 👉 Who's in?

Wow, what a ride 2024 has been! This year, I got to hit the road (and air!) for 10 awesome events across 7 states, and each one was a whole vibe! From meeting some seriously inspiring people to showcasing how tech can make life easier for businesses, it’s been a non-stop adventure. But what really made these events stand out was how much they taught me as a SaaS marketer. So, what does a SaaS marketer get when meeting people from trade-shows in different parts of the country? First realization: These aren’t just regular people—they are entrepreneurs, business experts, and industry specialists. They’re the very people who are potential users and customers of the SaaS products we create. Second lesson: Understanding how to market the right product to the right audience. Meeting them in person gives me clarity on what the “right product” is and who the “right audience” should be. Third, and the most exciting part: As a product marketer and content writer, I spend countless hours crafting feature pages, user journeys, and landing pages. I anticipate every click, every scroll—but meeting the real users in person is next-level. I can create their user experience right on the spot. Explaining how digitization can transform their business face-to-face? That’s a moment no amount of website planning can replicate! And finally: It’s all about building a customer-centric product, not just a tech-centric one. Tech is evolving fast, but we need to ensure it’s grounded in real users’ needs and feedback. These interactions give me the insights to turn customer feedback into lasting, impactful SaaS solutions. Looking back at these 10 events, I realize they weren’t just about showcasing what we do—they were about learning, growing, and building connections that matter. I've started organizing online events within my SaaS Founders Club community (https://lnkd.in/gtc4kJE3), which has grown to 10,000 members over the past 10 months. I've defined several event formats: 1. Show and tell, where SaaS founders present their products, receive feedback, and answer questions. 2. Expert Sessions: we invite experts to speak on specific topics followed by a Q&A session. 3. Mastermind groups: we discuss important topics as a group, breaking them down into 3 sub-questions. For me, it's an opportunity to boost confidence, practice English, meet new people, and learn from their experiences. Some have started companies in Hong Kong, others have developed AI-based products, and some have sold companies for hundreds of millions of dollars. Every interaction like this motivates me to evolve and explore new horizons.

SaaStr has really been one of the best events I've ever been at - can only recommend if you haven't been yet. Lots of learnings, from a sales standpoint these three stood out most: - Everyone in the Revenue Department needs to know the product cold - if not you'll get eaten alive, this includes Sales & Marketing. - It's ok to demand more in 2024. GTM stratgegies changed, you need to cultivate people and constantly push their boundaries - Culture eats Strategy for breakfast. If there are signs of toxicity or behavior which doesen't align with company values, you must pull the trigger. #saastrannual #saas #sales
