Know Your Body Series-Part 8: We all find Pranayam to be boring, don't we? But Pranayam is actually the secret ingredient for good health!! Although, our blood stream is naturally purified by eliminating the toxins through sweat, urine and stools but is it enough? Here, Pranayam is one more option to purify the blood stream, provide better oxygen to the body(as blood carries oxygen throughout the body) hence improving the health of our internal organs especially the heart. The practice of Pranayam helps reduce the pressure on the heart to function as well as other organs which in turn reduces the pressure on blood circulation in the body eventually reducing the BLOOD PRESSURE!! So, daily 15min pranayam practice is what every human being should follow.
