Here’s a question to all of you: how much more efficient is a team that is passionately striving for a shared goal, than an ordinary team? I’ve seen many discussions on efficiency and efficacy of innovation teams: focusing on portfolio (doing the right things), processes (doing things right), competencies, costs, etc. and trying to quantify their impact. And clearly all of these are important. It seems to me that the “passion for a shared goal” factor is impactful as well, although hardly quantifiable. So hence my question to you: how much more efficient (defined in any way you like: speed, quality, impact, … ) are passionate teams? Can you share your views in the comments?

These benefits pointed out by Dr. Alex Ekow Asampong (Executive Doctor of Business Admn.) are a powerful asset. It's exciting to see that many companies are increasingly realizing the advantages of having a diverse team. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to interact with many companies that invest in multicultural teams. It is notable how much these organizations have a more open mindset for innovation, for improvements, for changing the way they do things. As a consequence, they are companies that experience constant evolution and success.

Some organizations miss this point…and wonder why they can never recruit their way out of a bad situation!! Need to Environment Manage before we worry about Talent Managementz 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ Remember, environment management is key! Before worrying about talent management, companies must ensure a positive and welcoming work environment. Only then can they attract and retain top talent. Don't make the mistake of focusing solely on recruitment without first addressing the environment. #talentmanagement #environmentmanagement #workculture #companyculture
Without the right environment, even the most talented people will perform badly.

One of the most valuable things I learned in the IDF special forces was this rule: You can disagree with anyone, but only if you suggest an alternative. Sitting back and pointing out flaws leads to deadlock. Taking ownership and offering solutions pushes the whole team forward. At a company, it's way too easy to get caught in debates that go in circles. The real challenge—and opportunity—comes when we channel that energy into constructive solutions. The really hard part (but also the most important part) is creating an environment where criticisms aren’t seen as threats, but as opportunities to create something better. When people feel safe to critique and contribute, that’s when innovation really happens. Disagree? Great. But bring a new idea to the table, and let’s create something better together. Critique is easy. Contribution is hard. And contribution is what drives innovation.

I see great scope of growth and achieving milestones in a team m the more minds are there together, the more solutions we can provide I belive listening and providing solutions with an open mind add as an asset applying inputs from the team members is can be revolutionary I have learnt that we all Come together to create harmony however, when there is unaligned energy, productive solutions can still be achieved as they act as challenges and milestones

Unlocking the Secrets of Blue Carbon: The Art of Sediment Sampling Sampling is a cornerstone of research, and this holds true for sediment sampling in blue carbon ecosystems. Working within the aromatic ☺️☺️ mangroves, seagrass, mud of mudflats and salt marshes 🌱🌱🌱 demands meticulous care. Here’s why sediment sampling in these unique ecosystems is so special: Site Selection: Choosing the right site is crucial. Ideally, we aim for environments untouched by human activity. While finding such pristine sites is challenging (Men like the ‘portuguese man of war’ have spread their tentacles to almost all areas😁😁), areas with minimal human interaction are our best bet. Preparation and Procedure: Thorough preparation is key. All the team should methodologically buckle-up!! 🙂🙂. Before heading into the field, we ensure that all team members are aligned on the sampling procedures, including the appropriate depth for sampling. This preparation ensures the integrity and value of the samples we collect. Careful Transportation: Each centimeter of sediment tells a story! Don't remember if I said this here earlier?. To preserve these stories, we transport samples with utmost care, avoiding any mixing of sediment layers. Resource Management: Sampling requires significant resources—time, manpower, and money. Now mind you the resources allocated for researches aligned with nature based solutions are scarce 🤨🤨🤨!! By planning meticulously and executing carefully, we minimize errors and make the most of our resources. By adhering to these principles, we can unlock the secrets held within blue carbon ecosystems, contributing valuable insights to our understanding of these vital environments. Well hope you aren't bored 😔😔 by my blabber, I tried to be as scientific as I could 😂😂 bye

Change only gets a chance to succeed when the strategic vision meets the front-line team members that make it happen day in and day out. The new processes need to be thought through and documented, step by step. Then it’s constant follow up to make sure the new way is being adhered to. The gravity of maintaining status quo is strong. Lastly, it’s critical to validate the new way is better than the status quo, providing the team transparency the changes are working (or not working!). It’s a slow process, but once it takes root, the timeline to make the next changes should accelerate exponentially.

How can less experienced team members inspire growth? It's great to have experience, but sometimes the people who haven't been in the game very long come up with the most interesting ideas. New team members come with their own set of ideas and experiences that, when shared, can spark new ways of thinking and lead to innovative solutions.
