Network APIs are the future! Here's the latest chapter. 👇 Earlier this week, our 5G Lab in Kraków hosted the tests for the Telco Network API Challenge - a trans-Atlantic joint initiative by Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile US and hubraum! The idea is simple yet powerful - we bring together Telekom’s unique telco abilities in the form of Network APIs with promising startups and see what a tech solution is capable of when combined with optimal and customizable connectivity. We explored 3 APIs: - Location Verification - Quality on Demand (QoD) - Device Status 💡 The results? Forget about the “no service at concerts” problem! TapGig's live entertainment solution for remote performances leveraged our QoD API for smooth and reliable connectivity even in congested areas. Tata Elxsi explored Location Verification, Quality on Demand (QoD) and Device Status, adding Network APIs to the ways they help clients reimagine and transform their products and services. Industries include Automotive, Broadcast, Communications and Healthcare. InSky Solutions leveraged our Location Verification & Device Status APIs to enhance client management and processing, delivering precise and reliable insights. GIRTAB tapped into the Device Status, Location, and QoD APIs to optimize their large-scale data management, ensuring seamless performance across big chunks of data, improved integration, and operational efficiency. IoT tracking and tracing got a boost with Device Startus and Location Verification, executed in collaboration with Perfect ID! The APIs boosted their solution's precision and efficiency across supply chains and operations. What a journey! Day 1 was all about the tests, while Day 2 focused on sharing insights, refining findings, and exploring the broader potential of our APIs! 🇪🇺 🇺🇸 The sessions also fostered a dynamic USA-EU exchange with live virtual input between our lab in Kraków and the team in Bellevue, WA. The mentors, startups, and stakeholders from both sides of the ocean exchanged feedback and results, with a special keynote from Peter Arbitter, SVP Business Unit MACE / Network APIs at Telekom, and Hartmut Wittig, VP Magenta Business API. Key to the challenge's success was the guidance and expertise of our jury & mentors - thank you, Anna Piwowarczyk, Ewa Frydlewicz, Bartosz Gajewski, Eric Wilde, Hartmut Wittig, Noel Wirzius, Mikołaj Woźniak, Phillip Balkenhol, and Stjepan Podgajski! From Bellevue, WA to Kraków, Poland - this is just the beginning! Stay tuned for more insights from our Network API tests. 🎯 Another exciting transcontinental initiative is also around the corner - the T Challenge, with AI at the heart of telecom, powered by Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile US. #5G #APIs T-Mobile DevEdge | T-Mobile Polska
