Infrastructure design has to consider the increasingly frequent extreme weather events," said Karolin. The 2024 Pākehā Project program is coming to an end in the next few weeks. We have two more opportunities to stretch our constitutional imaginaries, allow our inquiries about te Tiriti and our constitution and the links between the two to expand, and to start with 'I don't knows' and let them become something more. In the Pākehā Project we start with the that we must honour te Tiriti, and learn how to do so, and learn how to become better at doing so. I enjoy facilitating these shared learning experiences on these kaupapa, so that the wisdom of the group is shared, and those with less knowledge learn from those with more... and over time we become a group of shared knowledge, able to discuss, debate, in an open way with collective wisdom. Be a scholar and a solver: be curious, keep learning and think of the real life applications of these learnings. Question what you know, listen to people who think differently and surface the blueprints for solutions together. I guess this further supports MIT's motto: mens et manus, mind and hand. -Immigrate: Leave the familiar circumstance behind you and embrace the unchartered territories.
