So it happens again. Applied for a fully remote listing only to be told it's actually a four-day hybrid. Transparency matters, especially in job postings. Let's strive for honesty to save everyone time and effort. SMH. This is not recruiter bashing as after being in HR over 24 years, I have many friends who are recruiters and they are great at their jobs and wonderful people who truly try to get people employed. This one actually complained about the 1600+ applicants they had. Well, when you promote a job of $100k+ fully remote, that what you are going to get. If you had put that they had to live in one of the most expensive areas in the North East and work on site, maybe there would have been a few less applicants. #TransparencyMatters #JobSearchInsights

Seeking input from fellow job seekers! 🤔 Why isn't there a feature to filter remote jobs by time zones? 🌐 I frequently encounter mentions of time zones in job descriptions. If we can filter jobs by remote, shouldn't we also have the option to select the time zone for those roles? It's becoming tiresome to read through remote job listings only to discover at the end of it that they require candidates to reside in specific time zones. #jobsearch #remotework #timezones #workfromhome #linkedingrowth

Just in the last couple of months, I’ve had half a dozen staffing agencies contact me about remote positions. But then, out of nowhere, they're saying, "Oh, actually the company has decided they want in-person candidates instead." I mean, really? Let’s break this down: Consistency Issues: It’s baffling that a company can shift its stance so quickly. One minute, they’re open to remote work; the next, they're switching gears. 😩 Information Misuse: I can’t help but think this might be a tactic to collect our info - are these roles even real, or is it just a way to build a talent pool?
