++GoldenPeaks Capitals investment in our future: The potential of solar PV++ Solar energy has greatly exceeded even the most ambitious industry forecasts, and it still holds immense potential as a sustainable, clean, and abundant energy source. Over the last few years, GoldenPeaks Capital has become a leading independent producer of renewable energy focusing on solar PV in Europe. Harnessing sunlight through photovoltaic cells allows us to generate electricity without emitting greenhouse gases or relying on finite resources. And because Photovoltaic cells have been around for a long time, the experience curve and the applicable economies of scale are making it one of the most cost-effective options for large-scale and decentralized energy production. Solar, combined with grid-balancing storage systems, owned and operated reliably, is one of the best solution available to the industry for achieving the Net Zero targets. The technology also allows for economic installation in poorer communities, many of whom live in sunnier climates. By investing in solar infrastructure, GoldenPeaks Capital is meeting the growing demand for renewable energy, all while knowing that the sun has the potential to provide all the clean energy the earth will ever need. And the infrastructure and technology will one day exist to capture this. All that is needed is an uncompromised, environmentally and socially responsible roll-out.

It takes a very talented team of people to architect a scalable solution like this. Renewables contract structures are not one size fits all, and the underlying software and processes required to operate this type of value added product are challenging but necessary to grow the industry. The same happened in deregulation when we started offering time of use and block and flow products 20 years ago. Diversifying to meet customer needs is crucial to growing any business, and our systems can help make that happen. The Ampion team have built a market making platform, so what kind of products do you have in mind? While you are considering your next world changing product and brand, consider this: our systems are developed and operated by market and operational experts, our call centers are peopled by folks that know the market and have the tools to address issues, and our company has been ISO 27001 compliant for years now. We have dozens of large enterprises contracted and seeking capacity, and we’d like to work with asset owners to service them. Give us a shout if interested.
Exciting news! Ampion is partnering with The Wendy's Company to help their restaurants source renewable energy across the country through #CommunitySolar programs. Our Ampion+ product is making it easy for Wendy's to reduce energy costs, secure Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and cut carbon emissions. Through this partnership, Wendy's has enrolled approximately 27.5 million kWh in community solar with Ampion. Our partnership helps The Wendy's Company with their ambitious commitment to cut carbon emissions by 47% by 2030. Our Ampion+ product offers a tangible solution for companies looking to meet their renewable energy goals and disclose their progress. We're excited to be part of Wendy's #sustainability journey. The future of renewable energy is afloat—literally. Floating solar technology is revolutionizing how we harness clean power by utilizing water bodies like reservoirs and lakes for solar installations. These systems not only save valuable land resources but also boost efficiency by leveraging the cooling effect of water. With the potential to generate up to 400 GW globally (and even triple that with nearshore installations), floating photovoltaics offer a scalable solution for energy transitions in land-constrained areas. As adoption grows, this approach could play a pivotal role in meeting climate goals while enhancing energy security. https://lnkd.in/dyXxFrGW #Photovoltaics #Energy #SolarEnergy #IP #VC #Patents #DeepTech

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has launched its A$100 million ($66 million) Solar ScaleUp Challenge, which is an initiative that aims to foster innovation and collaboration in the solar sector, particularly in installation, operations and maintenance solutions. “Ultra low-cost solar is critical for reducing electricity costs and decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors such as industry and transport,” said ARENA CEO Darren Miller. “It is also a key factor in Australia becoming a renewable energy superpower, a vision which would see Australia playing a major role in supplying our key trading partners with low emissions products such as green iron and hydrogen.” ARENA is calling on global innovators, developers, engineers, financiers, and solar customers to take part in the Solar ScaleUp Challenge, which will be delivered in collaboration with Greenhouse Tech. The Solar ScaleUp Challenge seeks to reduce the installed cost of solar projects to 30 cents per watt and achieve a levelised cost of electricity below A$20 per megawatt hour by 2030, aiming for a total installed capacity of 1 terawatt by 2050. Additionally, ARENA’s $1 billion Solar Sunshot Program focuses on enhancing Australia’s domestic solar PV manufacturing capabilities and commercialiding local solar PV innovation. While Sunshot targets component manufacturing, the Solar ScaleUp Challenge focuses on deployment strategies. “We are keenly aware of the barriers preventing our ULCS vision from becoming reality, so we want to try something different to crack open the opportunity,” added Miller. “Teaming up with Greenhouse Tech, which has a track record in driving this kind of innovation in the emissions reduction space, allows us to bring in more expertise to achieve the objectives of the Challenge.” For more information on participation and submission deadlines, visit the Solar ScaleUp Challenge website. The challenge will be open for 8 weeks and aims to build a pipeline of solar PV innovation for adoption by manufacturers and project developers. #cleanenergy
