🌿 Unraveling the Roots of Conflict: Zionist Institutions and the Transformation of Palestine In my latest blog post, I dive into the historical journey that paved the way for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. From the First Zionist Congress to the critical roles played by institutions like the Jewish National Fund (JNF) and the Anglo-Palestine Bank, the foundations of this conflict were laid long ago. https://lnkd.in/d_JHD-Rv

Centering the narrative around the solution, One Democratic State, sets the course and helps make sure efforts for Palestine aren't limited to the short-term, basically ending a genocide now only for another to start in a few years. It also helps make sure such efforts aren't hijacked toward non-solutions like two states, binationalism or confederation, whether by "light Zionists" or by well-meaning allies. And as the fundamental antithesis to Zionism, ODS also debunks the myth that Palestinians are out to genocide Jews and challenges the premise behind the existence of the settler-colonial state—that Jews can only be safe in a state exclusive to them. This is why we're issuing a call to action that explains practical steps you can take to help reclaim the narrative. I hope that South Africa will continue its victorious path, and I suggest that it endeavor in the General Assembly to issue two resolutions, the first declaring acts of genocide and Zionism as an enemy of humanity and the most dangerous crime imaginable, as an alternative to the resolution that reconciles Zionism and racism. Which America canceled The second resolution is to cancel the remembrance of the Holocaust in the United Nations or keep it, but designate a day for the remembrance of the genocide in Gaza.

Thesis: How to achieve "permanent peace in the Middle East" Carter identifies "two interrelated obstacles to permanent peace in the Middle East": Some Israelis believe they have the right to confiscate and colonize Palestinian land and try to justify the sustained subjugation and persecution of increasingly hopeless and aggravated Palestinians; and Some Palestinians react by honoring suicide bombers as martyrs to be rewarded in heaven and consider the killing of Israelis as victories. To bring an end to what he calls "this continuing tragedy", in Chapter 17 ("Summary"), Carter calls for a revitalization of the peace process based on the following three "key requirements": #Israel

The day after…………. There is always a “day after” - after a terrible war or conflict. In the case of the Palestinian conflict -which has spanned 76 years, the “day after” an upsurge in violence, it has lead to “sham peace talks”. The “victim card” has been played well by the occupying force the Zionist Israel whilst the “occupied and persecuted Palestinians” have been painted as “the terrorists”! The World now recognizes the rights of the Palestinians to resist and that they are not terrorists in resisting in any limited way they can and do. The world has witnessed in real time 24/7 the genocide committed by the Zionist entity over the past twelve months. Blood has been shed on both sides and sham ceasefire and peace talks are not going to have any traction with the world that is tired of this endless “European settler colonial ethnic cleansing project” funded initially by the Rothschild family. Further, the world has witnessed and have been horrified at the “lead aiders and abetters of this #thepalestinianholocaust by so called “leaders” in Europe and elsewhere”. Their duplicity and complecity in the genocide will be recorded in history. So, “the day after@ that inevitably will come will require unbiased, untainted leadership and countries “to start and ensure peace” in the Middle East. And The World. NO MORE SHAM PEACE TALKS by leaders who have exposed themselves as aiding the genocide both directly and indirectly. Leaders from South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa from Ireland Simon Harris from Spain @pedro sanchez from Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and from China @xi jinping have to play an active role in making peace - a truly lasting Peace. ☮️ https://lnkd.in/giQDjhrw

In Demodernization ilan pape wrote in 2018 Zionism is a settler colonialist project that did not end with the creation of Israel, but in fact continues to this very day. At the heart of any settler colonial project is the wish to have as much territory of the settled country with as few of its indigenous people as possible. This vision is intact as long as the settler colonial project continues; the means of achieving this vision change according to capabilities and circumstances. In 1948, the wish to Judazie Palestine and de-Arabize it was imple- mented through an ethnic cleansing operation. This campaign has arrested the process of modernization among the Palestinians that took off during the 1930s and even more so in the last years of the British Mandate (1945-1948). Between 1948 and 1967, the native population that remained, and not- withstanding the ethnic cleansing became the Palestinian minority of Israel, was put under military rule as a new means for continuing the implementation of the vision. This rule also slowed down the modernization and develop- ment of this particular Palestinian community. Worse was the fate of the Palestinians living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, occupied by Israel in 1967. Years of occupation ruined the chances for economic development and prosperity and the Israeli policies since 2000, based on a wish to impose Israeli rule over the whole of historical Palestine, while struggling with the demographic parity between Jews and Palestinians in the coveted enlarged state have resulted so far with what the UN and scholars such as Sara Roy term as dedevelopment. Dedevelopment is the most extreme manifestation of demodernization and can have long- term effects that could only be prevented by a continued Palestinian re- sistance, international recognition of the urgency of the ongoing catastrophe, and change from within the Jewish society in Israel. That was in 2018 …. Listen to him talking about the war in Gaza in 2024 1917 1948 1967 it did not start on October 7
