"Those were the best days of my life..." Do you remember this song? Yes, it's from the album "Summer of '69" by Bryan Adams. It perfectly captures that nostalgic feeling! I still remember my school days at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV No. 2 3, BRD, Chandigarh). School days were the best days of our lives! Smiling faces, innocence, and our biggest worry was finishing homework. Life was simple. Each of us had our strengths. Some were great at drawing diagrams, others had a talent for music or sports. Some excelled in Hindi, while others were English experts. We helped each other, making sure we all did well. Most of our fathers were in the Indian Air Force. We came from different cultures, but our uniforms made us one. Our differences made our friendships special. Fast forward to the corporate world. Everyone brings their unique strengths, and we aim for diversity and inclusion. D&I means bringing together people from various backgrounds—religions, cultures, experiences, genders, abilities, and perspectives—and valuing their unique contributions. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels they belong, can contribute their best, and are valued for their unique insights and abilities. D&I helps in innovation, creativity, and better decision-making by utilising diverse viewpoints. It’s about ensuring equal opportunities for everyone and creating a culture of respect and acceptance. In school, we didn’t think twice about helping each other. We welcomed our differences and worked together. We learned from each other’s strengths. Maybe we need to take a lesson from those days. Why have we become so rigid? Cheers Shweta Swarnkar Here’s a pic from my 11th standard, and it’s bringing back so many memories. By the way, can you spot me? #SchoolDays #Nostalgia #Diversity #Inclusion #Teamwork #LessonsFromSchool

Focus on spending time with kids and explain them about our customs our family values, traditions and festivals else kids will never take pride in what we are practicing since years. Focus on spending time with your neighbours, colony or apartment gathering so that together we create a sense of belonging ness & can extend mutual help when needed. Focus on parking correctly, driving carefully and don't spit on the roads there by we are contributing to a clean Bharat. Focus on family gathering & visit temple with family and spend time at that place. there by nurturing strong faith in our Sanathan Dharma & also strengthening our family bond. Focus on feeling proud of the job, business or the work you are doing there by you are contributing happiness in your society. The lesson I have learned from Ratan Tata ji That Success of true business is all about - 1. Helping others and creating value beyond profits. 2. Humility is the foundation of greatness. 3. Always focus on long-term impact, not just short-term gains. RIP Shri Ratan Tata, your legacy lives on. 🙏
Today, we remember with gratitude and respect, the impactful life of Sri Ratan Tata – an iconic businessman with a remarkable focus on making a positive impact on the world around him.
