Another Hackathon, Another Lesson 💡 Just wrapped up a hackathon organised by ThinkYoung, tackling one of the hottest issues out there using innovative solutions: fake news. And it did remind me of an important lesson: Nobody cares how technically brilliant your project is—what matters is how it sounds. If it’s not sexy, if people can’t instantly see themselves using it, you’re toast. It’s about making your solution easy to understand and irresistible to non-tech minds. THAT’S the game. So keep it simple, keep it sharp, and make sure people want in.

🌟 A month ago, I had the privilege of participating in InnovateX, my first hackathon, organized by the E-Cell, DTU (Formerly DCE). It was an exciting and valuable experience, made even better by collaborating with four amazing teammates who brought diverse skills to the table. 💡 Among the various problem statements, we decided to tackle the challenge of building a Fraud Detection System. It was a thrilling experience to dive deep into the problem, brainstorming solutions and developing our ideas under tight deadlines. The energy and teamwork during the hackathon were truly inspiring! ⏰🔧 Receiving a participation certificate 🏅 was a proud moment, but more importantly, the hackathon taught me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and learning in fast-paced environments. A few months ago, we organized the LLM hackathon with Hugging Face and Mistral AI. 2 of the 3 winning teams used Zama's ConcreteML library in their demo. Hugo Le Belzic's team worked on an automated pipeline to deploy encrypted models, Valentin De Matos' team shipped an AI phone receptionist for medical centers. Builders live in the future, and it turns out they naturally incorporate privacy in their products when the friction to do so is lower.
