So if you're in my network, somehow finding the courage every day to hit one more apply button and fill out the same idiotic forms yet again, just hit me up. Or maybe that's not you and you're just curious about the possibilities, but understandably anxious about what entering the market again would be like. Hello, I'm putting this out there and figured it'd be one less applicant in the bucketloads of applicants dropping their name into the hats by the hundred-fold. There's too many applicants out there, both qualified and unqualified for the vast amount of roles. There's no such thing as the perfect or even 'right' balance of recruiters. Company's hiring managers/recruiters are posting jobs. So I say, how about "post an applicant" #postanapplicant . The format is simple, post what you seek, briefly what can do off the top of your head, and where you are located. The unofficial rule or expectation is don't reach out to the applicant unless you have read and can explain "why you are potentially interested". Let's keep it genuine people. ------ Located in: Houston Metropolitan Area (can't move, in lease) Salary Range (depends if on-call, and hybrid/on-site): Base Salary of $125,000+ with benefits Contract $75/hr without benefits Currently Seeking: Company that is data-driven or seeking to be data-driven. Brief Summary: Seasoned Linux System Administrator of 10 years seeking role in a company that is data-driven where I may potentially pivot into. Currently studying the discipline of Data Engineering and the full end-to-end pipeline of raw data into a trained model and finally into an AI application.
