From 2015-2019, I led our cricket team phoenix in Qatar and truly loved every single player who played for our team, thought about their roles, discussed how they can progress and kept supporting them. I gave it my all to each one of them, wholeheartedly. Today, 5 years down the line, 5 years after I left Qatar for my adventure in India, they still stayed together, took the team forward and kept that culture alive. The last 3 years, in a professional setting, at Virohan has been no different. I loved the team, truly enjoyed weaving their journeys within the company and whole heartedly groomed them with all I had. The result - they have given double of what I have given them for the company and the team, grew up to own their own Individual portfolios and back each other through tough and rough patches. The power of a TEAM - is way beyond what we can comprehend. It can move mountains, it can make the unthinkable doable and it can make your life enriching, exciting and fulfilling. People out there - who have structural authority to lead teams - don't forget - this chance you get, may not stay for ever. What I've leant is: The difference between a Manager and a Leader is like a difference between Tunnel vision and Clear vision. Go getter attitude may be helpful for a tunnel visioner however, as a Leader, everything going around matters to insure keeping the team intact and let them be free to learn. Keeping the team behind as a go getter with tunnel vision will keep the view clear for the go getter but not the team.

My success is not just a personal triumph but a testament to the collective strength and capability of whole team.
