Proud to announce that I've finished #Rayos_Contra_Cancer's "#Treatment_Plan_Evaluation" course. This course addressed a wide range of topics including #CT_simulation scan image review, #image_registration, #contour_evaluation, #beam_arrangement, #plan_optimisation, dose measurement, DVH, and typical obstacles in plan evaluation. It offered 15 hours of didactic credit. I am appreciative the knowledge and abilities I have acquired and eager to use them in my practice to improve patient care. #MedicalPhysics #Radiotherapy #CancerTreatment

Using the IDEAL framework to report on and evaluate #Surgicalinnovation continues to be challenging. The framework, which stands for Idea, Development, Exploration, Assessment, and Long-term study, is designed to guide the development of new surgical procedures and devices. Professor Jane Blazeby and her team reviewed 48 papers describing studies of invasive procedures or devices and reported their study according to the IDEAL framework. They did this to understand how the IDEAL framework is applied in real-world settings. https://lnkd.in/e9xNRUuc
