Photography is indeed a powerful tool. As a weapon for investigation, it captures crucial evidence, aids in solving crimes, and documents reality with accuracy. Photography is not a medium to infringe on privacy, exploit victims, or tamper with evidence. When misused, it can cause significant harm—violating the dignity of individuals, distorting the truth, and undermining the justice process. Photographers have a duty to approach their work with integrity and respect. Their images should contribute positively to the society, shedding light on truth without compromising ethical standards. The real strength of photography lies in its ability to capture the essence of life while upholding the principles of honesty, empathy, and justice. Unfortunately, This World Photography Day is not a day for celebration, yet we feel bringing up such posts were a necessity for both the society and the young minds.
