🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃 As the spooky season approaches, we want to ensure everyone enjoys a fun and safe Halloween night. Whether you're out trick-or-treating with the kids or hosting friends and family, here are some important tips from the RCMP to keep in mind: For Trick-or-Treaters & Parents: 1. Be Visible! Add reflective tape to kids' costumes and carry a flashlight to ensure you're seen. 2. Stay on the Sidewalks and always cross streets at corners or crosswalks. 3. Choose Safe Costumes – make sure masks allow clear vision, and costumes don't drag to avoid trips. 4. Stick Together – younger kids should always be with an adult, and older kids should go out in groups. For Drivers: 1. Slow Down – Be extra cautious in residential areas and watch for little ghosts and goblins who may dart into the road. 2. Be Alert – Avoid distractions, especially during peak trick-or-treating hours (5:00-9:00 PM). 3. Yield to Pedestrians – Halloween brings increased foot traffic, so be prepared to stop at crosswalks. Have a spooky yet safe Halloween! #Halloween #HalloweenSafety #Epscan
