Truth is hard. In a world awash with information, discerning the truth has never been more crucial—yet challenging. The truth is the bedrock of rational decision-making. It underpins trust, integrity, and ethics. So, why is truth so hard to find in our hyper-connected, always-on world? Because it takes work. Truth is not merely heard, seen, or experienced. It demands source verification, supporting evidence, and careful examination. Lies, conversely, are effortless. They can be concocted instantly, ignoring the complexity and context of reality, feeding into our biases, and spreading like wildfire in catchy, bite-sized formats. Genuine truth often resists reduction to a 10-second soundbite. Leaders understand the significance of truth in making informed decisions. They dedicate themselves to continuously learning and evaluating the available information. They communicate with clarity and transparency, acknowledging what they don't know. In a landscape flooded with noise, let us strive to seek the truth, not merely accept what is spoon-fed to us by public figures or social media. Critical thinking and self-awareness are as essential in our time as they have ever been! --- What do you think?

The lost art of #criticalthinking has created a the need for Artificial Intelligence …… #critical #thinking can and should be taught to up and coming leaders! Critical thinking is the ability to effectively analyze information and form a judgment. To think critically, you must be aware of your own biases and assumptions when encountering information, and apply consistent standards when evaluating sources.

What is your MoralDNA? Earlier this year, tech leaders convened at the National Theatre for our Fit to Lead Executive Forum. ‘The Corporate Philosopher’, Roger Steare, focussed on the role of MoralDNA in ethical decision-making in his session, 'Ethics in the Age of God-Like Technology'. As technology rapidly advances and becomes increasingly integrated into our lives, ethical leadership serves as a cornerstone for navigating complex ethical dilemmas and ensuring responsible use of technology. Roger's MoralDNA framework places an emphasis on people, values, and rules, as the inner compass to guide ethical decision-making. Ethical leaders who prioritise the wellbeing of their people and values can create a positive and supportive work environment where employees feel empowered to contribute and make ethical decisions. You can read more from Roger's impactful session by reading our blog, 'Ethics in the Age of God-Like Technology: Unpacking Roger Steare’s MoralDNA' here: https://lnkd.in/exAB9MfE... #WeAreBabble #Babble #FitToLead #MoralDNA #EthicalLeadership #AI #Technology #BusinessEthics #LeadershipDevelopment #CorporateSocialResponsibility #WorkplaceCulture
