People are choosing to leave the grid and seek cheaper, cleaner energy alternatives. And frankly, they’re right. It's not their responsibility to sustain an inefficient system. This trend is driving a forced energy transition toward cleaner energy resources, one that governments must recognize and act upon. The Australian Government is currently seeking feedback for the development of its Electricity and Energy Sector Plan, which is one of six decarbonisation sectoral plans being developed under the Net Zero 2050 Plan to help reduce emissions across the economy. The areas they are consulting on are: - mobilising investment - enabling electrification - growing alternative low carbon fuels - building Australia’s clean energy workforce  - maximising outcomes for people and businesses in the energy transformation.
