Charging from home is a game changer ⚡️ One of the biggest perks of owning an electric vehicle, is the ability to charge it at home, and the Pod Point Solo 3S does the job perfectly. For me, it's been a game-changer in so many ways. Charging at home is incredibly cost effective. I can fully charge my Tesla Model Y for less than £5 using smart charging, which gives me enough range to last around a week. Compare that to fueling a petrol or diesel car, and the savings really add up. No more detours to petrol stations or waiting in line for a pump. I simply plug in at home overnight, and my car is ready to go by morning with a full battery. It's like waking up to a "full tank" whenever I need to. With the option to choose renewable energy tariffs, I know my home charging is not just cheaper, but also better for the environment. I can also charge my EV whenever it suits me, taking advantage of off-peak electricity rates for even lower costs. Smart charging features on the Pod Point app also make it easy to optimise charging times. For those considering an EV or curious about home charging, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a seamless way to make EV ownership not just sustainable, but incredibly practical and affordable. If you’ve got questions about EV's, charging from home, or how to make the transition, feel free to connect or drop a message. Jordan M I'd bet your charging speeds are much better from "normal plug" in the UK versus the US since you are 220V instead of 110V? How is charging there from just a "normal" plug with the mobile charging cable?

Home charging really does make all the difference. Being in an area where that is not possible - I have even written to a local home which does have it to see if they would let me charge when they are not using it.

Great post. I really don't miss that "5 minute" fill up at a petrol station (thats 20 minute drive from my house) For how much these cost its a no brainer, the same for workplace charging. Lets all make it easier for more people.

For sure.. started from the beginning and bypassed all the charging anxiety... I am puzzled at the numbers who could but don't use home charging.

Love not going to fuel stations anymore, definitely don’t miss the fumes.

Totally agree! Home charging is a game changer in so many ways and with the various renewables energy tariffs available, why would you not to choose to get a home charger 💪🏼👍🏼😃 Great post and very informative Jordan M

Have a podpoint solo installed, only fault I find is a power cut, you have re install the app and can be hard to re connect, wish they could make it simpler.

Recalling charging my first EV, Citroen C zero. Even I back then couldn't imagine how easy it is to drive and charge an EV now, how far you can drive and the simplicity of it.
