The hive to honey jar workshop was a great succes 🐝 This was so much fun! A very enthusiastic group participated in our workshop from hive to honey jar. They really got stuck into the activity, asked lots of questions and generally getting a bit sticky 🍯 There will be more opportunities around the beehive, so keep an eye on the socials.

In the first week of June, 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩'𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝. The week got me re-thinking my choice of being a student founder @ Truly Community. Here's what that went down: 1. We lost ALL of our user data 2 days before our heavily sought after launch. 2. I was close to losing my Information Systems degree. 3. Right before our over-subscribed SparkStarters event, a facilitator unexpectedly cancelled, leaving us in a lurch. 4. During the event, we had to deal with an unpleasant participant making others uncomfortable. As a founder, there's one piece of advice no one gives you: 𝐬𝐡*𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 💩✨ All your blood, sweat and tears is going to come crashing down until you want to abandon everything you've worked on. And that's okay. that's just what you signed up for when you added 'Founder' to your personality. What's not okay is giving up. In the end, we still had a super launch, I got back my double degree and our event went smoothly. 𝐀𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. It's going to be awfully hard & unintuitive but you need to embrace the chaos, learn from the hurdles, and keep moving forward. I promise your perseverance, hardwork and chronic lack of sleep will pave the way for truly great things. PS A huge shout out to Aloysius Bruce Kendrick Ryan Varshan Stan Kaung Nyan James Guru Aadya Mayuri for your role/support in getting our data back & making our launch/event a success!

3 reasons why Facilitators Connect is not like any other event out there 1️⃣ We'll make sure you leave with stunning pictures of the highest quality that can be used in your presentations and marketing efforts. So no more awkward self-portraits of blurry phone pics from the back of the room! 2️⃣ Like the speakers we also want the location to spark your creativity. That is why we stay away from those sterile conference rooms and will be hosting the event at a unique location in France! 3️⃣ We'll keep the learning going. We know that learning does not stop after the retreat, that is why we'll invite everyone to our monthly community calls so that everyone can stay connected and keep sharing experiences and learnings! 4️⃣ (bonus) There is not a single other event that is hosted by Katrien Schepers 🏰 and myself 😅 What do you look for when joining an event?

I was blown away by the honesty, acceptance, and maturity shared... We host daily informal video meetups for our community members. This gives them a chance to hear how members think as well as see what they look like. Last evening, the topic of discussion was how they would handle conflict. I was blown away by the honesty, acceptance, and maturity shared in their views. Handling conflict is an extremely critical part of a relationship. While we often focus on looks, how well someone smells, height, etc., these are not must-haves but nice-to-haves that can be learned if not present. In reality, if you are willing to invest in a relationship, you must be open to unlearning and relearning. By our 30s, we often feel we know it all, but being open to resolving issues is key to a lasting relationship—even if you and your partner are as different as chalk and cheese. Meeting today's members gave me so much confidence. They spoke from their hearts without any pretense. Trust me, if you wish to meet real people, here they are. Details to join shared as a comment. andwemet

I shared five questions to reflect on the first quarter of 2024 on my Instagram page and Eva-Maria Zoll so beautifully used those for our belong.community session today. Thank you. 🙏 Thought it would be appropriate to share them here too for anyone to use in their team check-ins. Pick one and let the magic flow! 1. What are three things I'm celebrating from the past three months? 2. What experiences felt difficult to navigate and how did I respond? 3. What practices, people, and places nourished me the most? 4. What is one key learning I want to honour from this year so far? 5. What is the new chapter that’s blooming for me and what would I label it? PS. I host monthly reflection circles with more fun journaling prompts and the next one is on April 7th! Interested? I'm offering a free trial to test out the community and including the link in the comments! :)

What's obvious to me may not be clear to someone else. That's why I share everything I know. When I started, I was overwhelmed with all the advice and tips out there. Later, I realized that the best lessons come from those who share their experiences and knowledge. So, I decided to do the same. Every day, I share: – What I do. – How I do it. – What I know. – What I’m learning. – What’s working for me. I don’t hold back because to someone else this could be the key piece of advice they’ve been searching for. Don’t keep your knowledge to yourself. Share it. You never know who might benefit from it, and the impact it could have. By sharing daily, I’ve not only helped others but also built a community that grows together. It’s a cycle of learning and teaching that keeps everyone moving forward. The clearer you can make something for someone else, the more valuable you become to your network. Useful? Why You Should Build a Thriving Community for Your Online Course You’ve built an amazing course... but are your students truly transforming? Without a dedicated community, your learners might just absorb content and move on. When you create a vibrant community around your course, something magical happens. Engagement skyrockets, collaboration flows, and accountability kicks in. In fact, a strong community becomes a network of shared wins, where your students can learn not only from you but from each other. If you want students to go from passive learners to active achievers, your course needs more than just great content — it needs community.

My followers are not just certificate mongers. My community is the community of people with drive, hunger & thirst for excellence. They are not just crazy for certificates, they follow me & join my courses to improve lives. Over last 15 years, I have educated them about individual effectiveness, setting goals in different departments of life, innovation, vision, big thinking, creative thinking, business, marketing, politics & help them become better human, not just a good safety professional. People tell me despite your huge achievement & services, some people hate you. Hate & jalesousy is natural. I wish they can also achieve what I have achieved & they add value more than me, I will feel good for them. Do you like my tips other than safety? Let me know in comment box.
