James 1:27 shows us true religion in God's eyes. Instead of doing rituals and sacrifices to show our beliefs and how "spiritual" we are, we should instead do as Jesus did and care for the widows and orphans to show the pure heart of God. As the light in darkness and disparity we are doing just that. We must not let the world influence and discourage us. Would you consider supporting us financially at https://lnkd.in/dJDBC4Xx where our vision to rethink how orphanages and shelters are designed and managed to be more accessible and sustainable all on a much larger scale thus allowing for more effective means of caring and treatment of the most vulnerable in society. All donations are tax deductible. #thegoodshepherdshouse #nonprofitorganization #nonprofit

For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. Mathew 26:11 We have countless opportunities to help those in need! Our world is imperfect, and poverty will always be a huge concern. We can actively help those in need by donating to local charities, participating in fundraising for missionary projects, and praying over the hearts of those who are hurting. Prayer is powerful, and we can change the world by calling on the name of the Lord. Dear Lord, we will watch over those in need. You have blessed each of us with skills and finances so we may provide care for those who are physically and spiritually unable to provide for themselves. In Jesus' Name, Amen. #spiritualityandspiritualsouls #brainexpansiongroup

Inspiration before Information. It’s one of 4 pillars that undergird our work Money for Ministry. People leave a gift in their will to your ministry, because… Your work aligns with their passions and expresses hope they hold deep within themselves. --A gift in their will is a way to WORSHIP God with all that he has given them. --A gift in their will demonstrates a legacy of faith to their kids and grandkids --A gift in their will is a way to pass on values of faith, generosity, and service --A gift in their will tells the next generation of the goodness of God --A gift in their will is a person’s last and final act of generosity, yet extends beyond their lifetime. How are you helping your donors see your work as an act of their worship and an expression of their faith? #nonprofit #fundraising #legacy #christianvalues #giftinyourwill

An update on our EOY goal, and an invitation. We're so grateful for the financial support that has been given towards our end-of-year goal so far! We experience so much joy as we consider how God will use each dollar to support His children. Thank you!! Your year-end financial support is crucial for Be Broken to continue to help those who seek grace-based support. But why Be Broken? "We live in such a performance oriented world that, even if we have an intellectual understanding of grace, we need tangible reminders and fresh experiences of Christ's love and affection for us, no matter where we are in the journey. I've seen that approach keep guys engaged that would have otherwise walked away in discouragement, myself included. I think Be Broken excels in that area." ~John Many of you have received support through the Be Broken over the last 20+ years. Will you help make that help available for others in 2025? We invite you to give toward the end-of-year goal of $118,000. The journey to living fully alive - to gaining freedom from the pain of your past and growing in spiritual and emotional maturity - is rarely an easy one. We live in a broken world where many struggle with anxiety, pain from their past unloving behavior, and apathy about the common good. When you donate to Faithwalking, you will help equip individuals and communities to find healing and wholeness as Christ intended. Be a part of someone’s journey to healing by donating here: https://bit.ly/4aacLzR.

With so many asking for donations on this “Giving Tuesday,” I would like to offer a few suggestions: - Give the almighty, Creator God (mentioned in Genesis and beyond) thanks, praise, honor, and glory. - Give your household a smile, warm hug, and a sincere “I love you.” - Give others you pass by or interact with a friendly smile, and if the opportunity presents, a kind word or deed. And, if you still insist on spending money, pray to be led to whom and how much to give. Don’t be afraid to switch your giving from state or national pro-life organizations to true abolitionist organizations! Give to life-affirming Jewish groups like Cecily Routman’s JPLF. Give to non-“replacement theology” groups that believe Biblical prophecies and support the idea that Scripture should be instated as the foundation of Israel’s Constitution and laws. And should you feel led, MMFL is a 501c3 charity, if you would like to support our affirmation that human babies are human persons from fertilization, and PAIL parents have every right to grieve.

For Advent this year I found myself reaching for wisdom from leaders and clergy that have faced trying times with grace and grit. Leaders like Mitri Raheb, bell hooks, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Grace Lee Boggs. I decided to use quotes from these leaders as my advent calendar. I'm offering a print out of what I gathered if you'd like to use them as writing prompts or in your own advent calendar. There are two ways that you can get a copy: 1) Make a donation to support the people of Palestine and use this document to share your receipt. Donations can be made to organizations or personal fundraisers. A donation of any amount qualifies. ( https://lnkd.in/gVyhafeD ) 2) Join my Patreon at any level ( patreon.com/Femminary ) May you find inspiration and guidance as we sit in darkness, and remember that darkness can either be a place of fear or fertility.

One's bread can last another person a week. Once you have this understanding and compassion, you can feed a thousand of thousands. Jesus feed 4,000 is a miracle sign. To show the power of God. Our God is our Creator. When we feed 4,000 , it is pure charity and humane. We are only human. But I can tell you, human charities cannot buy salvation. When human started to be more effective, he will feed millions. Be A Visionary Human. Even the best human are not guaranteed salvation. No matter what the best human did, he will never surpassed Jesus died on the cross for the man's sin. Yet it is great, to be effective human. With God's help, it is best. When the next time we need help, we learn to pray to God.
