I'm now a Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt! ✅ I have successfully completed the training and obtained certification as a “Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt”, conducted by PRODEMY-Productivity Academy and this training has been accredited by The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) USA. This is one significant step in my journey to continuously improve and refine my abilities in quality and process management, having previously successfully completed at the “White Belt” level. During the Yellow Belt training, I learned many new things, from more in-depth data analysis to more diverse quality control techniques using various tools, such as the SIPOC Model; FMEA; Histogram; Fishbone Diagram; 5 Why; Pareto Chart; Kanban System; Control Chart; Scatter Diagram; 5S/5R Workplace; Kaizen, Poka Yoke, and others. By attending this training, I also gained a better understanding of how to implement the DMAIC concept in Lean Six Sigma. In addition to theory, the trainees were also assigned tasks to create a project (real-case) as a graduation requirement. In this training, I created a project titled “Improvement in the Quality of Fragrant Tea at CV. Duta Java Tea Industri Adiwerna (Defects Decreased from 2,49% to 0,9%)”. This project focuses on improving effective strategies to reduce product defects, minimize waste and process variations, and reduce operational costs at CV. Duta Java Tea Industri Adiwerna (2Tang) company. Seven years ago, I had the privilege of attending the late Kazuo KAWASHIMA San training session, and it was truly eye-opening. His deep understanding of #QRQC methodology didn't just teach me about operational #excellence; it showed me a whole new way of #thinking. Inspired by his insights, I dove headfirst into the world of continuous improvement, finding myself drawn to the philosophies of #Kaizen and Lean. The practical examples and case studies he shared resonated deeply with me, illustrating the transformative potential of systematic #problem-solving and waste reduction. His emphasis on fostering a culture of continuous improvement sparked a shift in my mindset, pushing me to constantly seek out ways to enhance #efficiency and drive innovation. But what left the greatest impression on me was Mr. Kawashima San's unwavering #passion for excellence and his dedication to #empowering others. His teachings didn't just teach me skills; they instilled in me a sense of purpose and drive to make a positive impact in everything I do.
