This Bank Holiday weekend, we hosted our annual Open Competitions, bringing together over 100 top golfers. Despite high winds causing some damage, our team worked hard to restore the course, ensuring it was in prime condition for the events. Cathy Peel won the Ladies Briggs Trophy with a Nett 69, while Luke Kelly took home the Mere Trophy with a 139 (-1) after 36 challenging holes. Playing golf has taught me so much about leadership! 🏌️♂️ Just like in golf, being a great leader means staying focused, being patient, and thinking strategically. Here are a few lessons golf has reinforced: 1. **Preparation is Key**: Just as I practice my swing, leaders must prepare for meetings and projects. 2. **Adaptability**: Weather changes on the course, and business conditions change too. Adapt and keep moving forward. 3. **Patience and Resilience**: Not every shot lands where you want it. Learn from mistakes and stay resilient.
