Healing the Motherline and Generational Trauma retreat Our relationship with our mothers is one of the most profound connections we experience. It shapes how we perceive our bodies, our capabilities, and our place in the world. The mother wound, an inherited pain passed down through generations, is a key part of this dynamic. Healing the mother wound isn't about fixing our mothers; it's about embracing ourselves and our unique gifts without shame. https://lnkd.in/eM3f4gqa

Times are troubling. Trauma--overwhelming events in the organizational and individual world--is what tears us apart. We bring whatever has happened to us and is happening to us with us when we enter a house of worship, workplace, or place where we are a customer. Faith communities? They’re the place where we should experience solace and comfort as well as challenges to grow… We help faith communities become trauma-informed and trauma-responsive. We help them learn how to identify what might be traumatic to people now and across the history of their faith; how the impact of trauma is transmitted generationally; how trauma impacts people and how we can use the holy to help us heal. Participants tell us it's "life-changing" and "faith-building." (PS--we help organizations and individuals, too…)
