Readwise is an app I use to sync notes from the various sources I consume information into my notes app. To get specific, some of the things I use Readwise for include: • Kindle highlights • YouTube videos • Web articles • Podcasts Readwise takes the work out of note-taking. All I have to do is highlight the parts I want, and then Readwise automatically syncs those highlights to my Obsidian. The best part about the internet? The amount of information at your fingertips. The worst part about the internet? The amount of information at your fingertips. But, there’s a couple resources I use when I’m trying to learn something new, or improve at my job as an ADR: 1️⃣ Your company Most companies have some absolute LEGENDS you can learn from (I know samsara does)… so start there 2️⃣ LinkedIn Got to be super careful with this one. There’s a lot of people that don’t walk the walk, but there’s a couple of needles in the haystack (yeah I’m looking at you, Brian LaManna and Troy Munson) 3️⃣ Podcasts/audiobooks 30 mins to presidents club, my first million, and Never Split the Difference (thanks for the rec Scott Baird ) are all epic. Just wanted to throw a few things out there that have helped me out so far:) drop a couple of good resources in the comments!

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE FEELING OVERWHELMED WITH LIFE. 1. DON’T LET WORRY KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT. *Note to self and anyone who is worried:* How something ends up never depends on how much you worry about it. When you can’t stop worrying, escape the worry trap and … Write it all down. Promise to worry about it later. Listen to podcasts, an audiobook or music (change the station). Be present. Notice the things around you. Go outside. Walk it off. Turn your phone off. Help someone else. Live with less. Hold on to what matters. Let go of the rest. These coping strategies can stop you from spiraling when you worry. This is really important during stressful situations.

Monday… 5am… 💪 I have created my “win the day” morning routine that… works for me. And I appreciate that not everyone raves about hitting the gym in the morning or going for a run, but what matters is that you find your own routine that helps you elevate your performance and quite frankly… feel great! There are also some huge, yet not so obvious benefits, to creating your morning routine: -> strengthening your discipline muscle (motivation doesn’t last…) -> building confidence (accomplishments of showing up pile up!) -> fuelling up you mind with great podcast / audiobook -> best ideas and perspective shifts come to the surface…. Over the years I have tried different things when it comes to morning routine, and now I know that for me, starting a day with moving my body is by far the best way 👌 Have you got your own morning routine?

I still believe NotebookLM isn't getting the attention it deserves. Last week, the NotebookLM team introduced some new features, and one that really stood out to me is the ability to pass notes to hosts, allowing them to focus on specific areas of content. This brings us one step closer to fine-tuning conversations to fit our needs, giving us more control over how discussions unfold.
