Where are the places few have heard of but where everybody wants to live? With more than 6,000 villages in the UK of every shape, size and situation, there’s a community out there for anybody looking for life on a smaller scale. How do you find the one that’s right for you? This list should be a useful starting point, highlighting 20 villages that aren’t well known across the country but are always in demand among those in the know

The NSW Government has just completed and released the results from their #Moore #Park #Golf #Course redevelopment study. The fully engagement report is at the link below. This is a highly contentious issue, as the general community fully supports converting a large swath of the current golf course to a #parklands, whilst the golfing community is not supportive in any way. It would appear that it is going to happen. I am fully supportive of any opportunity to provide more #public #open #space for the community, and not have it allocated for one specific user group. Here is a quote from the report: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑁𝑆𝑊 𝐺𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 20 ℎ𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑀𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑆𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑛 𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑦. A FIRST OF ITS KIND, BECAUSE ITS NOT HARD TO DO. In what should be a unique event and the first in five years of cleaning up other peoples rubbish the TIDY Group has connected with a private landholder and a local horse club to tackle a publicly accessed land bank in a combined event using both 4WD and Horses, this will be quite unique. The land holder in a gentleman’s agreement has agreed to keep the land open and accessible until the property is sold so the club can continue having access and we will work together to maintain it. This is something I have NOT been able to achieve with the State Government in fact they are obstructive in this regard. *The LOSS of managed multipurpose recreational areas nearby large scale developments is a mainstay of crap behavior that occurs when there is no where to “play” and inevitable waste is not planned for and offences are not actioned.* These well planned and executed events that happen multiple times a year are the mainstay of the initiative and demonstrate what can be done when you put your mind to it. The Local, State and Federal Governments and planning departments could well learn from this but don’t because they are so caught up in mindless squabbling of the he said she said and the not my patch not my problem and it’s not written BS. If we want to make any timely difference and improve outcomes then we need to stop farting around and just get the job done. Not seen in the video are number of other massive dumps of household waste, tyres, road waste, and other items.
