The Environmental Protection Group (EPG)’s Post

Great to see a project between landscape architects and engineers working in total harmony.  We were delighted to work alongside Illman Young and Group company Carrick Sports Construction, who delivered the build for our retrofit SuDS for Reclaim the Rain initiative at Boxford Village Hall. Together, we have improved rainwater management on site, with reduced risk of flooding and and aesthetically improved the venue for the community. Keep your eyes peeled for a full case study coming soon.   Both EPG and Carrick Sports Construction are part of STRI Group, providing end-to-end design and build solutions in sports and urban environments.

It’s great to see the finished construction for this retrofit site at Boxford Village Hall for Suffolk County Council. This site is part of the Reclaim the Rain project, where we were involved in the concept design. We worked alongside The Environmental Protection Group (EPG) and Carrick Sports Construction, who delivered the detailed design and build, to improve rainwater management on site and reduce the risk of flooding while improving the aesthetic of the venue for the community. Both EPG and Carrick Sports Construction are part of STRI Group, and we are looking forward to collaborating with them again on future projects. Reclaim the Rain is part of the £200m Flood and coastal innovation programmes (FCRIP), managed by the Environment Agency. #illmanyoung #retrofit #suds #FCERMStrategy #fcrip
