Here are three simple things, that are hard to do, that will help you improve clarity & alignment. 1️⃣ - Start with WHAT (confirm your the objective, the problem, the obstacle, the decision to be made) 2️⃣ - Define the what as a GROUP (Validate understanding, perspective, ask the next question, and the follow-up question to confirm that understanding.) 3️⃣ - Identify Next Steps, confirm who will take ownership of those next steps, and when they will report back on progress. Do these three things. Your meetings will be more effective (Yes, you should pre-plan, and you can do this using the Catalyst A.C.T.S. effective meeting tool) Your team should LEARN something. THINK differently about something. Know what ACTions to take. The first step towards my coaching certification is complete!

A powerful aspect of coaching training is self-reflection. Before participating in a training program, managers commonly assess their coaching skills through an unrealistically favorable lens. But after learning how to be a better coach, managers reduce their self-assessment from “slightly good” to “slightly poor.” While this may feel like moving in the wrong direction, proper self-reflection allows for genuine growth.

Do you think that a Coaching Certificate important? Coaching Certificate can be important as it provides credibility, demonstrates competency, and enhances professional development in the coaching field. Additionally, a Coaching Certificate may open doors to opportunities and increase client trust in your coaching abilities. It also signifies a commitment to ethical standards and ongoing learning within the coaching profession. How about you?

Coaching is planning. Planning in assessing, identifying, implementing, reflecting, and analyzing. A well-planned approach can help reduce the number of decisions and increase connectivity. What is your coaching process?

There are the obvious things to consider when picking out a coaching training program, such as: ✅ Is it accredited? ✅ What are former participants saying about it? ✅ What will I obtain for the cost and duration? But even if you use these as guidelines to helping you discern the best program for you, the deeper question becomes: ✨ Will I just learn a bunch of skills or how to actually be a coach? ✨ On the surface a coach training program could look like it has everything you want, but remember, not all of them are created equal.
