Mission Ready Water Update: The World of Innovation   At BluMetric we are dedicated to advancing water purification technology through strong collaborations with academic partners in research and development.    A long-standing academic partner recently reached out to BluMetric to see if we could design and build a custom frame-mounted Reverse Osmosis (RO) pilot system for ultra-high pressure and recovery applications, well beyond conventional RO systems.    Our partner wanted to run experiments in automatic continuous flux or pressure modes to allow the system to operate on lab source waters up to 80,000ppm, which is over twice the salinity of typical seawater; they came to BluMetric for a solution.    BluMetric built a 1200psi RO solution for very high recovery applications and is a step towards zero liquid discharge, a great technological advancement in this water purification process.    Stay tuned for more updates as BluMetric remains committed to enhancing operational capabilities of our Mission Ready Water solutions through the world of innovation. #MissionReadyWater #Innovation #ReverseOsmosis #CleanTech #ResearchAndDevelopment #Sustainability #EnvironmentalSolutions

Currently, pickling lines heavily rely on hazardous products like inorganic acids. 🎯 The ultimate goal of the InnoPick project is to achieve a complete substitution of inorganic acids in pickling lines by combining innovative technologies such as strip preheating, highly turbulent processes combined with the addition of abrasive particles, and the utilization of organic acids. Initiated in July 2023 and scheduled to conclude by the end of December 2026, the InnoPick Project brings together several partners, including Tata Steel Nederland, ArcelorMittal Maizières Research SA, RINA Consulting - Centro Sviluppo Materiali and RINA. New extraction system for Greydanus Aardappelhandel en Transport B.V. 🔊Last week ONYRIQ was in Newport (UK) at Gurit’s facilities for the 24M internal meeting of the European Commission funded REPOXYBLE project (Depolymerizable bio-based multifunctional closed loop recyclable epoxy systems for energy efficient structures). Our colleagues Mireia Miro Mezquita, Daniel Peral Crespo and Ainhoa Tolentino Chivite, had the chance to meet the members of the consortium and to discuss with Gurit the scale-up of the cleavable hardeners developed in the project for the obtention of chemically depolymerizable epoxy resin systems.
