JSW MG Motor India, in collaboration with Vision Mechatronics Private Limited®, has introduced India’s first high-voltage second-life battery under its ‘Project Revive’ initiative. Unveiled at The Battery Show 2024, the battery repurposes used electric vehicle (EV) batteries, extending their lifecycle and minimizing waste. This sustainable solution, powered by an indigenous Battery Management System (BMS), will be used as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) at an industrial facility in Pune, highlighting its potential for large-scale energy storage. This innovative development is a major step towards fostering an eco-friendly EV ecosystem in India.
