Their efforts in peacebuilding and conflict resolution are often undervalued, despite their critical contributions to fostering stability and community resilience. As we continue to witness the ongoing struggles for peace in Palestine, amongst several other conflicts, it's crucial to remember the power of unity and the pivotal role that effective leadership plays in fostering a peaceful future. The voices of women in leadership are especially vital in these efforts, as they bring unique perspectives and solutions to the table. Today, I invite all leaders and visionaries to join hands in shaping a better future. Organizations often perpetuate harmful narratives that disproportionately disadvantage women. Led by John Hopkins University, this workshop, facilitated by Dr. Anna Kalbarczyk, DrPH, MPH, Dr. Rosemary Morgan, PhD, Dr. Mehr Manzoor, Dr. Choolwe Nkwemu Jacobs and Meagan Harrison, will address harmful narratives in leadership by encouraging participants to consider alternative approaches for their own leadership styles and offering strategies to dismantle oppressive systems within their organizations.
