PALM's decision to organize the fair this year results from the fact that there have been no lift fairs for 6 years and the lift industry expected the Polish Association of Lift Manufacturers, due to the dynamic development of the industry in recent years, to organize such a fair. Poland is one of the EU leaders in the area of economic development and stable economy. Poland is also one of the leaders in the use of EU structural funds in infrastructure development.  This situation has a huge impact on the stable development of the lift industry in Poland. After Poland's accession to the EU, the number of lift in operation doubled and currently amounts to approximately 150,000 units.  The number of newly installed lifts has also been similar for several years and amounts to approximately 8,000 units per year. Warsaw accounts for 30% of the lift market in Poland.  Warsaw is a city with a dynamic growth of high-rise buildings. Currently, in terms of these buildings, Warsaw ranks 4th in the EU. Several dozen new high-rise building projects are at various stages of implementation. In Warsaw, the tallest building in the EU is also put into operation in 2023, i.e. Varso Tower with a height of 310 m. We also have a large market with over 20,000 lift for modernization. he participation in Poland Lift EXPO will be the best opportunity to present your offer to the lift companies and investors in Poland. A little over a week ago, the MWC Technology Fair focusing on connectivity took place in Barcelona. Here are a few highlights from the perspective of the Oulu Automotive Cluster: ◾ There was a clear emphasis on software, with fewer visible physical components than before. Connected vehicles and tailored individual driving experiences supported by high level system integrations are in focus now. ◾ Future telecommunications networks are increasingly built with software, and it is now intriguing to witness advanced applications emerging from various industries. ◾ 5G private networks have gained traction, and new protocols such as RedCap enable cost-effective and dedicated solutions, especially for industrial environments. ◾ There were relatively few automotive manufacturers present, but entities like RadioPark and OuluZone, presented by RadioPark, garnered significant interest from the audience! ◾ Advanced testing environments, featuring high-quality network infrastructure and ready-made service models, are of great interest to stakeholders. I recommend that anyone working with connected vehicle data, traffic, or safety data (of any kind) spend some time with the xyzt.ai team. I know firsthand the complexity of working with granular data sources. Data is one thing, but what is essential is useable, actionable analytics and insights. The xyzt.ai platform combines multiple sources, meaning you can get precious insight from various data sources. Most importantly, it's easy and intuitive, but you also control the exploration and output. It's not uncommon globally, but especially in the US, I saw the public and private sectors challenged by several sources of connected vehicle data, telematics, roadside, and manual data sets. Working with all of it was almost impossible to gain the most value. These guys make it possible.
